Just a few things. Hard bed cover, a few decals, TRD Pro grille with raptor lights. Little stuff, Ejection Seats

Looks great! Now get the Raptor lights to finish it off.

I am currently in same boat. Hated the 17' chrome OR grille so i replaced it with a $30 Craigs list SR grille. I really want a pro grille, i love the nostalgia factor and clean look it adds to a newer truck.

Thanks folks! I thought about adding them, but I'd rather have a light bar somewhere. I think having both would look a little too "busy" for the look I'm going for.

That is exactly what I did, got the SR grill off of someone on here for like $20. I left it on for about a year before buying the replica from TheTacoGarage last week: Good quality product, and a lot easier on the wallet than OEM.

    I've taken the mudflaps off?
Yeah, I have used their jigs on a few projects. Just wish they were aluminum rather than mold-injected plastic

Did the ac drain relocation mod last night. Way too cheap to not do.

Bottom of my frame in that area was covered in white residue from the ac condensation, so glad I did this.

I haven’t installed those yet either. I guess I’m procrastinating since it looks like it may be frustrating. Who knows may give it a shot today. Did you remove them from the backside or pop the lens from the outside? I don’t want to break anything.

We shouldn't have to do this. Toyota should do it at the factory.

I argue that the bad design is intentional.

While Hanlon's Razor states, "never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.", after 6 years of having this problem without the factory fixing it the problem cannot be accidental.

Could fill a blackboard with things that Toyota should have done.

At least this was quick and easy to fix.

Agreed. Like keyless start of the MT. Or amber turn signals in the rear. Or license plate lights that don't shine at the backup camera. On the flip side, these mistakes create an entire cottage industry for smaller businesses to address them. Still waiting for somebody to come up with a OEM level solution to the keyless start problem though, but I know that's a tough one so I'm not holding my breath... just holding my keys. *sigh*

I don't even use the remote start because of the stupid shut down issue when you open the door. WHY!

And I don't have that license plate glare issue that I've read about. Maybe something with the caliraisedled's that changes the light angle. A few things have really bothered me with this truck but most of them are addressed already. Next up is adding additional weather stripping to hopefully fix the wind noise between the doors.

Wasn't talking about remote start. Couldn't care less about remote start, actually. I'm talking about this button, and only this button:

I WANT THIS BUTTON SO BAD, but Toyota got all over MESO's ass about the logo. Randomly red ones are available, but that black is sooooo clean.

Still missing the point. This button doesn't exist on any MT Taco (as far as I can tell), and that's the mistake.

Oh, yeah I heard they didnt do the push for the MTX models. My DD is a 6MT, but I didn't want the Taco in a standard. I'm sure there's a way you can modify it if you realllly wanted.
