Nope, only interesting note is Miami is the first team to lose 7 straight and then win 7 straight and back in the hunt.

For a kid that hasn't taken a snap in the NFL, book didnt look bad. Not saying hes the next Brady or Manning but he didnt look awful considering that he doesnt really have a healthy team around him

Tua is just an average QB.

Gimme a break. I know you're a huge Jimmy fan, but When I read it yesterday, they didn't know the extent of the injury yet.

Given the amount of times he was under pressure, I think Book held his own. He had enough pocket presence to feel the rush coming and try to avoid it. And on one play where he was scrambling for his life he threw the ball out of bounds, to live another play, instead of trying to make something out of nothing. That shows QB smarts in my Book.

Wouldn’t surprise me one bit. The Rhule-led Panthers have cut Cam, signed Teddy, cut Teddy, signed Darnold, then signed Cam back for a pop from the crowd in just a couple years’ time.

This season they’re paying Cam, Teddy and Darnold or a better way of putting it would be they’re paying Cam to replace the guy who replaced the guy that they replaced Cam with.

We love washed up QBs that no one wants here and I say why not add Jimmy G. to the mix.

…man it sucks rooting for a clown team. Matt Rhule has got to go. The only college coach with less wins in his first two years in the NFL was Bobby Petrino.

I think there will be a fair amount of Quarterback swapping in 2022.

I would if I though knowing would change your response. If you won’t give him the benefit of doubt why should anyone give it to you? I truly hope Lance is everything we all hope he can be someday but it’s sad that Jimmy’s record as a starter has earned him so little support when it’s quite obvious it would be even more impressive if defense and special teams had done their parts better. Injury is a part of the game and affected those parts of the squad as well though, field goals were missed and game ending drives were not stopped, but somehow his are the ones where the player is blamed for his absence. One more positive outcome among those other missed chances and we’d might have already locked up a playoff berth, more and the division would have been in reach. He’s the easiest target though. I’m a fan, just not a blind one.

If the Niners front office has so much faith in Jimmy G., why did they sell the farm to get into the #3 draft spot and then draft his replacement? Are they blind too? We have no idea what Lance will become, but the ceiling must be higher with him to justify the bounty given up.

Jimmy G.’s stats are good enough to put him in the upper half of QB ratings and get the team into the playoffs. But everything else around him has to be near perfect in order for the team to win. He is not a game changer. His throwing skills don’t put fear into defenses. When you’re one of the highest paid players, the spotlight will be on you. That is why I criticize his play more than the other aspects of the team which are also underperforming.

 We'll see how conservative Shanahan is with Lance. If he is all they think he can be, I'd imagine we'll see a little more action on the field. This season is pretty much toast, so I'm not expecting a lot. If he wins, great. Meanwhile, it's the old maybe next year.
