Are they new? I thought you aren’t supposed to re-use them. If they’re new I’d definitely take em off your hands.

I've never heard you can't reuse the Ubolts. As long as they FIT the new leaf pack, unlike with mine the new leaf pack is too thick for the stock Ubolts. Thats the only reason I had to get extended ubolts for mine. As long as the bolts aren't damaged you should be fine may want to soak them in some rust restore if they may seize up on you.

It’s really only self locking nuts you don’t want to reuse, or bolts that have to be stretched…. And I don’t think our trucks have any bolts like that, at least none that the majority of us would mess with.
Now, you technically “could” reuse a self locking nut but you’d need to know the drag torque and make sure it’s not exceeded.

    https://beattiespring.com/blogs/knowledge-center/the-biggest-u-bolt-question-we-get

They may just be trying to sell product but it makes sense with the stresses put on them. However, LOTS of people on these forums have loosened their ubolts to add a leaf myself included and never noticed any play in the axle or what not after retightening them. My current pack is 5.5 years old with an AAL done within months of taking it off the lot. The packs are flat now and I still don't feel any play. However it is wise to err on the side of caution when talking about what holds the back of the truck together going down the Highway I know I wouldn't want to drop my rear end at 85mph. Ubolts are under $100 for the peace of mind that everything was new when installed. While your new packs are out I would look into getting poly bushings for em to help age even better.

I'm in the annoying situation where I have a garage, but it's full of shit. Mostly kids' stuff, but I'm guilty as well.

So instead, I dream of the day I build a detached garage that's just for dad stuff, and maybe their dirtbikes if I'm nice.

From what I've heard, you are way better going with a surrounding county PD. Baltimore City is VERY poorly managed and the crime is through the roof.

Plus one on this, I’m a Dispatcher for MDTA. Have to work with BPD regularly and they either don’t have equipment or don’t know what they’re doing.

The City isn't the same one I grew up in for sure. I'd never go back. I dread even going to the VA there and always always have my knife on me. If they are gonna rob and shoot me I'm at least gonna take a few swings before I'm dead lmao. Even the surrounding counties are falling and crime is spilling over into those areas. Cops are treated like dirt even by the city's own "leaders". It's a rough time to get into policing in general and even worse in Blue states and Deep Blue cities. I'm waiting for Mosby to get carjacked at gun point. Philly and Chicago got two senators in one day.

is it possible they don't want to be looking at criminal charges for making an arrest? Cause that will put a freeze on proactive policing too. Add to that the no bail or stupidly low bail puts them back on the streets within hours of the arrest I'd be like whats the point?

They are all yours if you want them… will PM you my cell and we can set up a time. I appreciate the offer of 4Runner parts, but sadly have not yet pulled the trigger on one… but the wife is hounding me about getting her one. Just waiting for the market to relax.

The police have been handicapped since Norris had to step down after his tangle with o'malley. The PD becomes less able to function every year, not because of the cops trying to do their job but because of the libs constantly taking away their abilities to do so. When the criminal has more "rights" and protections then their victims will every have, the system is beyond broke. It doesn't exist anymore.

I've been trying to get into the CARES program that the VA is supposed to give you when you live a certain distance away from the nearest VA facility, they constantly refuse to enroll me.
