Its been single digit here for the past week, but my battery has been failing for the past month. Thinking of getting the toyota warranty battery, selling it and getting a northstar.

3 year 36k mile on the first battery, then the replacement is 84 months (prorated)

I'm running Toyota's Trustart 84 month warranty battery. Still zapping along after over 4 years. ;)

Edit: I think my ctek float charger helps it last longer.

No. That was a very large working ranch at one time and that spot is quite remote...about 1.5 hours south/southeast from the Saucedo ranger station (middle of ranch). Many cattle still in the northern region but didn't see any signs of them in southern portion. The ranch is massive. I don't have the history on that pila, but it clearly gathered water for water tanks just below the hill for cattle that are no longer there. There were pipes running down to a 4x5'ish cement troughs. Zero water anywhere near my camp though.

Entire ranch is fascinating...just the geology alone is incredible. But to see and traverse some of the old wagon trails is a friggn absolute incredible journey. And ZERO pavement/humans/technology and noise. Bliss.

Finally got around to installing MESO Stage 1 tail light kit. Much better than Toyota's dumb idea of breaking main tail light into two lit pieces depending on function.

Saved me from contemplating spending $600+ on Morimoto tail lights lol my fake TRD Pro knockoff tail lights from DEPO or whatever is good enough for me I still rock a knockoff TRD Pro grill so it's all good haha...

Come to NV for a trip. Outside of the small Reno and Vegas metro areas you have days worth of driving through that.

Not sure if there is a Costco by you. but they have a great warranty program for the batteries they sell.

Pulled my lower air dam, cleaned up the underside by pulling the box extensions and capping with square one creations caps bought here. I then pulled the tie down loop and installed a TRD hook which I purchased here from essjay (thanks again Chris). I think that it cleaned up well, I like the look.

I put on a Scosche phone mount today…. Unless you want wireless charging, this is the best way to mount the phone, IMO.

Also picked up some “Toyota” valve caps. Not gonna lie, they’re SUPER cheesy, but I like them AND they feel a lot more durable than any stock valve caps. 14B46556-F3B6-440E-9423-AEAD14D90F37.jpg174D8129-68F2-45B8-9F0F-0EAE3F2F4AF8.jpgFD7E0474-35FB-4D55-8DFB-6906E7ECB31F.jpgCAEC7E54-C96D-41DD-B4DD-5537812F8EA9.jpg

Agreed on the phone mount, best mount and I havent had my phone leap out even on the worst roads. I have one mounted on each side, for phone/radio/gps.

    valve stem caps look great!

Messaged another member that has one.

Nobody has this specific one for sale or anything close. Everything else looks cheesy to me.

    D-ring tie-downs.
The steps are a pain in the shins, but I knock the snow, not this year so far, off my shoes on them. Also, I have a back-seat front passenger looking up at 5' that needs another step. Hahaha I get instructed regularly on how to steer the Tacoma around. Amsoil is extreme for extreme eh? If LSx is plural, I'd say you aint messin' around. Good for you. There are so many Tacomas on here all decked out.
