Shiniest thing on the bike! Rear brake lever doesn’t do anything, need to look into that.

    None... yet.
Gloves came in today! Look and feel real nice but... after charging the batteries, yelling "Power ON!!!", and pretending I had the ability to throw flames from my hands, I noticed that the right glove was quite a bit warmer than the left. The directions do say to let them charge overnight the first time, so... maybe that'll "fix" the issue???

Anyone looking for a good deal on a Kendon Dual Stand Up trailer?

2007. Hauls two bikes. 2000lb capacity. Folds/stands up. Added a winch to easily lift with one person, new “custom” wheels/tires.

    $1950

Good deal! Might want to add your location.

Also if you have a 3" lift, 35s, and a HC bumper a 4" drop hitch probably wont work. Might need a 7+

Ha! Good call- Las Vegas, NV.
I towed with my 2” lifted turd Gen without that trailer rake- but yours would make the bikes look like they are doing wheelies down the hwy which is an added benefit!

So first impressions with apple car play.. its kinda clunky, or im just old. Or maybe google maps is. Anyways, its nice to have maps and can stream music too.

the Quad Lock is awesome. Best gift from my wife yet!

I had carplay in my truck and currently have it in my 4runner. IMHO apple maps works way better with it. Worth giving it a try.

Will do. Also may be a learning curve. Ive never had it. Truck is 2010, and civic is 2000 lol. Although the wife's car has it, but i dont like it or all her driving aids

Also hit 600 miles, so time to do first oil change!

agreed on the quad lock. put it on the bike early last year and loved it.

I travel in my Tacoma for a living and use car play through a Kenwood HU 100% of the time I'm in the car. I would have ranked the maps

    1) waze (my icon is a red motorcycle!)
    2) google maps
    3) apple maps.

I may have to give apple maps some time and see If I like it better than in the past.

I use maps and Rever on the phone when on the bike. No music or in helmet sound of any kind. Just personal preference.

@fatfurious2 Looks like you're having a blast with that bike. My good buddy in PNW has a CRF450 that he takes all over and even did Baja 1000 on it a few weeks back. Constantly posting shit. You guys are making me think I need nobbies in my life.

I also have OnXOffroad for trails that works with car play. A connected Bluetooth headphone is needed for car play to work on the bike.

Im having fun today changing the oil. 2 drain plugs, and I spilled oil everywhere haha. I need a center stand for maintenance. About to wrap this up. Gotta put in 4.2qts of oil and then ill be good.

I added the Quad Lock ball mount in my truck too.

I use the A pillar, and retired the Ram X frame to the Tacoma. Use to move it back n forth.

wait....2 drain plugs, for the sump on the bike? either side?

Bike lift bro. Start watching the Harbor Freight ads. about once a year they damn near give 'em away.

Both on the left side. One next to the drain hoses and one in front. Dont ask me why though.

its done, oil levels are good. Im happy.

In regards to the lift.. no space! I have a 20x10 "one car" garage. It looks small with the bike in there. Dont mind the paint. I was in the middle Of repainting before it got cold. Now its warm, but no desire to start the back because i have to move all the tool boxes out first. Gotta wait for real spring

I would put that in the "unless its 100% the only bike you want and set up exactly how you would set it up it's not a great deal" category. Low mileage and all the farkles (plus him mentioning he was retired) makes me think the guy bought it, threw a bunch of money at it, only took it out a couple times a year, and babied the hell out of it, but they're putting a lot of value on the farkles and condition.

The G650GS's are kind of an oddity, especially the second half of the ones that were made. They didn't make that many of them, they're single cylinder thumpers, they don't make all that great of power, it's 5 speed not 6 speed, the aftermarket support isn't all that great.. idk, they're just oddities a bit.

If it were my money, I'd go with a bit older F800GS. But I'm also biased :)

Now, if it was a G650X, I'd be having a whole different conversation haha this article went on ADVRider the other week and was an interesting read:
    https://advrider.com/revisiting-the-bmw-g450x-g650x-and-hp2/

Edit to add in more thoughts: if you were going around the world and looking for a bike, the sertao actually wouldn't be a bad option. I think it's almost 100lbs lighter than an F800.
