    Stoked about this!! The more I drive kdmax pro the better it gets. Took a 250 mile mountain trip over Christmas and 4wd in 8” of snow on the highway was amazing and very predictable power and fun to drive.

    This is something I really want to do!

    Any info on traction/throttle response in the snow is much appreciated. This past week I've driven I80 in a blizzard 5 out of 7 trips to work in Southwest Wyoming. 4X4 the first 35 miles and cautious eyeballs the rest of the 40 mile commute each and every day. Kinda tired of this winter shit already.

    Dave @TWTaco and I have no experience driving in the snow. I live in south Louisiana and he lives in southern California. LOL
    But we do have experience with off-road driving with the tune. The throttle is set to be smooth and linear, so as long as you ease into the throttle, you will not have problems in the snow.
    The shifting with the tune is predictable and smooth, so I believe this will help you in the snow.
    Smooth throttle and predictable shifting will be an improvement for all terrains!!

    Anyone on here upgrade to pro from 6.0 wifetip? SLT was jumpy for me but wifetip has been about perfect. Curious what throttle you went with and comparisons with wifetip would be appreciated.

    Snow Driving
    @Tucomuh @PapaRee @TWTaco

    I have been driving in the snow for the past two weeks. No issues at all with throttle response. As PapaRee said, ease into and there are no issues at all. However, if you want, you can really make it slide around and have some fun in the snow. Just make sure no one is around you. The biggest problem with snow is the other crappy drivers out there. But that's the same in the summer! LOL.

    I did! I actually went away from v6 to another tune because of exactly what you described. But I came back to all the hype on the vPro normal throttle. I'm so glad I did, this version is money!! It's smooth and they nailed it. You won't be disappointed! Easy to drive smooth but the oomph is there when you need it.

    We have a different situation in Winnipeg that requires a change in driving mindset when the the snow starts flying. We have snow, yes, but because they don't remove it quickly combined with a prolonged stint of -25c temps, it gets packed down and turns into ice at a lot of the intersections and very slick on the main sections. I can attest that the Pro throttle response (normal) is just excellent for these conditions. Very easy to mange and even more so with 4wd engaged using S mode. 4wd in these conditions improves traction from a stop and also improves stopping with gearing down and braking on icy surfaces.

    I've been driving in the snow for the past 2 weeks . 4x4 works flawless for dd to work . Now out wheeling oh boy this tune makes a lot of fun . 2wd I find fun in the snow also. Normal throttle you can get around in the snow just be easy .

    Washington was short over 200 snow plow drivers across the state. We fired some because they would not get a covid shot. Did not see the sense there since they work alone.

    DO IT! lol.
    I went 5.29's. I think either is a great option and can't wait to experience them with and without a tune. The wait is killing me but I am trying to be patient. Still have not tried S mode so maybe I should while I wait. I suspect I'll never use it once I'm tuned and geared (unless hills maybe).
