Got them on sale :D. The Pro Match was $175, AR9 $180ish, and the AR10 was $164. I paid $275 for the first one I bought years ago. My original one doesn't have that nifty little adjustment knob. That seems like a cool feature.

Finally finished my 13.9” build (bottom one). Ghost rifles lower, Aero slickside upper, BA 13.9” 5.56 barrel, SOLGW Nox pin and weld, Aero R-one 12.6” handguard, toolcraft nitride BCG, radian raptor in tungsten, B5 Bravo stock, Romeo 5 red dot. Turned out just how I expected. Now to shoot it!

Looks fantastic. So with the pin and weld, what do you estimate the total barrel length is now?

    Should be 16.2

The Nox paired with a 13.7 barrel results in a 16. So a 13.9 should add .2 inches...in theory of course

Does this account for subtracting the .620 (average profile thread length) that is included in the length of the barrel?

I'll have to measure again, all that I looked at was to make sure it was at least 16" before sending it off.

But yeah all the research I did said about 16.2", which is why I went 13.9" instead of 13.7". I felt the latter was cutting it a bit closer than I liked lol.

the difference between the 13.7 and 13.9 might only be .200 the remove from the thread lengths. My 8.3 barrel only has .400 thread length and the 8.5 has .620. That's my experience anyways. SO when you pin and weld a device, the 8.3 and 8.5 would be the same length after the p&w b/c the extra length of the 8.5 is eliminated once the device is on.

3" Toytec spacers, Bilstein 5100s in the back with add a leaf and overloads removed.
Though I hate the thought of leaving a gun in a vehicle this is aesthetically pleasing

Agreed, I don't actually use the cabinet like that daily, we did this for a work thing for that show (Overland Expo).

That’s funny. My wife doesn’t understand why I keep wanting to get more gun parts. I’ve got 4 1/2 years and I’ll retire. I’m trying to pack in as much guns and ammo as I can before that. She asks why can’t i just go and shoot what I have and enjoy it? I’ll probably have to get a part time job when I retire just to fund toys

Thoughts on the NOX was looking at those for my 11.5 as the muzzle device for an upcoming dead air sandman can. It's an intriguing idea and would prefer not to run a brake on that one in the event I had to run it without the can.

I was forced to retire because of my Health. I still get to make a few $$ purchases here and there but not like I did when I was working. Good Luck with your retirement.:fistbump:
