    Yeah; those plastic tabs can break so easily.

    I do actually have extras, all black parts, including window switches. I've just been too lazy to swap them out with the wood trim.

    I found out after buying the 4R that the black is stronger than the wood trim. Would be nice to have extras all over the place though ngl

    I recently just did all 4 corners on the GX (rotors/calipers/pads/lines) and encountered the same thing. Ended up having to return a few times to get all banjo bolts and bleeder valves the same. Sanded, prepped and painted as best I could. Do it right and do it once was my motto...

    ha, got distracted halfway through that last post.
    It does look good, definitely have to get under it and see what the rust situation is. No real concerns about the drivetrain, looks like there’s a bearing before the rear diff that can go but the rest seems pretty standard.

    even if it’s not perfect, I just have no love for newer cars. Too much tech, not enough smart design.

    Wish I would have bought a blasting cabinet already. I bought some VLT blue caliper paint and I'm just going to degrease them and paint.

    The VHT high temp caliper paint is legit. I basically gave them a quick sand and wipe with alcohol. The instructions recommend that you bake them after painting, but I just painted and installed. Didn't have time to bake. No chipping/peeling yet though.

    I finally "upgraded" the head unit in my '05 Civic and CarPlay is nice for nav and whatnot, but... I miss my volume knob.

    Same.. I haven't baked calipers yet. I think I might take it easy the first few times that I drive them.

    420 = blazed
    Blazed = baked
    Baked = brakes

    The math checks out...
