What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I hate the limited amount of space between my knees and steering wheel. Would the leveling of the spacers give me some more room up front?

 

They are the Switchback model that Lasfit makes. They can be switched from 6000k white to 3000k yellow for rain, dust, and snow.

 

I do keep it on and scrape it occasionally on the harder trails but that may differ based on your geographical location. I find it more effective than stepping on the bumper as I've bent the rear support already and didn't want to exacerbate it.

Thanks, I rarely use them but they are a huge help here in the south when traversing outside of the city

 

It really simply lifts the rear of the seat so the front anchor points, and the distance from the floor to your knees, is unchanged. Your butt just isn't low removing that "sitting in a bucket" feeling.

 

Finally installed my new Diode Dynamics 42” light bar! Now I’m thinking about selling my Baja’s and buying all diode Dynamics.

 

My local mechanic replaced my shocks with a set of OR take offs I bought a few years ago. The front shocks were shot, I can really tell a difference when I drive. Also replaced the transmission output shaft seal that was leaking and drain and filled the diff cause it was due. Bad news is that the brake pads will need to be replaced very soon but I expected that.

 

Start by replacing those baja "fogs" with some ss3's. I have the max's and they blow everything else out of the water. My roommate and my buddy run the pros and they still kickass.

 

I second this opinion. I have the pros, my buddy has the maxes. If you can afford it, go with the max they are insane in brightness with a super sharp cutoff. I still love my pros though, I've contemplated selling them and upgrading.

 

Started painting my 2nd set of beadlock rings. Found some amazing stainless steel paint in a can for only $6 and I’m very impressed. Only 1 wheel done tonight but it won’t take too long to get the rest swapped over. Very stoked with the contrast here.

 

Also added this retroish decal, was going to put the decal on the wind faring of the prinsu rack but it doesn't adhere sadly.

 

The finished product looks a lot like what I did with a can of Steel It but it was over $30 for 1 can...

 

Yes correct hence why I was so stoked to find this quality SS paint in a can.

Drove it to the dealership and ordered a dash harness and a couple small parts for my radio install.

Now it's a waiting game until the parts arrive then I could start my electrical install/mod/customization.

 

Ok, will do! Yeah I’m so impressed with this light bar!!

 

My wife would kill me if I spent more money on the truck right now. Even if I could recoup some of the money back. We just spent a bunch of money on repairs for it.

 

Replaced headlight bulbs as the passenger side was burned out. Whoever designed the springs to hold them in should be beaten repeatedly on a daily basis. Still need to replace the side marker light on that side too but didn't have the bulb and couldn't figure out how to remove the old one. I assume I'm just not twisting it hard enough?
Also installed a JLT oil seperator. Had to notch the e fine cover to get it to fit but not too big of a deal.
