I'll tell you what blows, turbo Subarus. Back in the day I had an Outback XT, great fun car. But, everything blew up, the turbo, engine, trans and my wallet.

I am on my 5th Tacoma. Sold one to a friend of mine with 200,000+ years ago. He just “retired” it at 350,000 miles or so to buy a new truck. Agree. This would be the type of review that impresses me instead of reviews about expensive new high tech crap and a redesign to keep up with the Jones family. Plus they STILL make manual trannys.

They're good trucks but I agree with the title. Tacomas are over the hill. For me that's a pro. To most consumers it's a con. That's the way it goes.

I lived in a Tibetan village called Gyirong. Spent most of my young adult life there. Many of my days I would listen to a teacher who they called Dechen. He taught me alot about the ways of life. The most important thing he taught me was an old saying they have, fuck'em.

    What happened to grasshopper?
What they need is to get back to reality, ask someone like me who went from a horse, to a bicycle to a 52 Chevy 3/4 truck, straight 6, starter on the floor, vacuum wipers and 6 volt! As soon as I upgraded to a sweet 8 track I was gold! Lol

The ONLY thing I see off-road in AZ are Tacomas, Jeeps and 4Runners. If you don’t wheel, maybe there are other options.

Don't read 'em. In fact, if you want to truly enjoy your truck.....stay off the internet all together

Bought a new 81 Ford F150 4x4 once...biggest piece of junk I ever owned. I would bore you with reading all the problems it had. Got rid of it after three years. Fast forward to 1986 got my first Toyota 4x4 truck, 212K 18 years. One tough little truck and very stiff suspension, yeah. Then 2005 Tacoma 17 years, not as tough as the 86 but more room and love the access doors. Two weeks ago got my 2022 SR 4x4 and likely my last one. My body may be falling apart but I don't think the truck will. Now I just need to sell the 05.
