First time for me getting it. Pretty mild symptoms so I'm guessing this was Omicron.

They are fun. Solid axels!! Both the difs pull out like the hogs head on a ford 9 inch rear or the taco rear. Limited things for upgrades while pricy. Yes you can find lifts for them and bumpers as well. The off road support is an eighth of what the taco has. Hell, a thirtysecond of the jeep world. Plus they have their own quirks about them.

l liked it because of the, you didn’t see many playing off road. And always got the, you did what with that?.

If you go for it.. try to find an SD trim level (least amount of extra crap on it). Sun roofs will leak (drain tube)if not already completely sealed up. Some have electrical issues, mine did not. The engines also had (some) head gasket issues, too. That is a whole other story as to the thoughts behind it. The SD has coils sprung suspension. Trim levels above that went air bags in the rear and a different sway bar.

the 03-04 got the newer 4.6 v8, just a longer stroke in the same block if I recall correctly. Also, after 99-2000. The t-case was changed dropping the CDL, BUT, could still be found in some up to 2001 (mine had it, just had to add linkage to engage it).

While at it… I have pdf service manuals for the Disco. On the PC at the house.

You wanna shoot the shit about ‘em, lemme know, yo. Haha

Crap! Forgot to say, there are a couple of places that you can get good used parts from as well. One place in Kentucky and another in Florida. Both deal in LR only.

Way more info than I thought I would get. I found one in Petersburg that seems well sorted and has a few upgrades. Doubt I'll be able to do anything right now unfortunately.

I'd need a Jeep type tippy front tube (then a hydraulic ram to push me back on all 4!)!!
I had only pulled up a 10" wide pine root prior and it was kind of a struggle (tap root vs. massive offshoot root trunks)...wish I had the go pro running for these tip attempts - the stump not the skid!!
    Nice!!
