    I’m not sure about that. I was sorta hoping others that had the square connectors like mine would chime in here so we had a better idea of which years or when it changed or like you said is it with JBL

    have you tried tasker to automaticly turn on wifi? Also did you turn off zlink auto connect?

    IOS hotspot does not always broadcast an SSID. I know you need to open the ios hotspot settings before it starts broadcasting. Is this the issue you are having?

    It can also be 1234, which is the code I use to hook my phone to the stereo...

    I haven't done the full Sergy firmware update yet, but I switched from Z-Link to Headunit Reloaded yesterday and Android Auto is working much, much more smoothly. Here's the link to his writeup on it

    If you look on the phone app when connecting bluetooth it tells you the code to use right there on the screen

    Sadly I broke my obd wire when routing it. Everything works but the speed and rpm. Just need to flip the climate control

    Its really personal choice, it unlocks features you don’t have access to and adds different themes to make it look more modern but at the end of the day you don’t need it to have it function properly.
