Back on subject - installed a tiny subwoofer.

1st Gen Tacoma's have more room underneath their seats than 3rd Gen 4Runner's; lucky.

That said, I’ve made an “Escape from LA” joke or two about all the CA refugees moving to NC and never got banned. Maybe I just dodged a bullet. Doesn’t sound like something to ban someone over though, IMO.

Took out a leaf from my Dakar pack. Starting height was about 2.5” higher than front. New height is about 1/4” higher than front. Much better rake profile and much softer ride. Don’t haul much or tow anything, so the spring rate will be good for a while. Happy with the results!

 

Replaced 20 year old console armrest.
