Thinking of hitting a trail for new years, tomorrow. Start the year off right. Something simple and close to me. Maybe Lytle Creek or Cleghorn, if anyone wants to join.

I'll be headed to Lytle Creek/ Sheep Creek Truck Trail this Saturday with a few other buddies. Meeting time and location TBD, but most likely 8 AM or so somewhere near there. I'm not sure if we'll hit the trail from Sheep Canyon Rd or from Swarthout Canyon Rd, but should be a fun, easy, relaxing day regardless. If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll send you more details.

It was a pretty chill day. A bit windy heading to the staging area on the I-15, but once we aired down and got going, it was a great day. We only saw 1 truck and two dirt bikes. Seemed like everyone might have been over in Big Bear/Pilot Rock, or at KOH. Had epic views from the ridgelines, and there was one section that had some muddy water to drive into. The backside heading down for the last 2-3 miles was a bit icy with a lot of loose gravel, but nothing a 4x4 couldn't handle. Once we aired back up, a few of us headed down to Route 66 Shooting and did a little bit of target practice.

Just did it this morning. No snow on 2n02. About halfway, very little on the side. Going back on the 38 or the 18, there’s some snow that people pull over to play.

My family is fishing at Silverwood lake. Want to go hangout and also off-road for about an hour with my PreRunner. Don't wanna waste too much time, just want to see dirt and get the truck a little dirty. Can I start the trail from Silverwood lake and drive the trail for awhile and then turn around somewhere? Or is the trail too tight the whole time to turn around? Not looking for another too hard with my PreRunner. Thanks ahead of time!
