What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I just used the bracket that came with the bumper that fastens under the winch fairlead. It covers the fairlead but I can have the thing off in a few seconds if it's needed.

 

Thought it would be fine to trick people into thinking my sr5 has and "off road" sticker on the truck

Tested out my Staub tire deflators and Desert Armor air compressor tonight. Aired down to 18 psi from 35 in a couple of minutes. Had the air compressor set up and aired all 4 tires back to 35 in about 7 minutes. Beats filling up each tire individually at the beach and that’s after waiting for your turn.

 

Try to make a little joke but I guess some are still wound up from the holidays.

 

Washed, paint prep wipe down, and then applied sealant. Tomorrow prob cerakote the plastics and I still have to do rims and tires.

Having great time in the driveway playing with a new to me tent. The 270lt works perfectly with it.

Lol, honestly I don't like that we still use F like only four other countries on this planet but there isn't much I feel like doing about it.

 

Spent the last couple days installing an ADS suspension on the Tacoma. This consisted of ADS 2.5 non adjustable Front coilovers, Dirtking upper control arms, Gusseted spindles, and 1.25 wheel spacers. In back I added an Add a leaf with the stock over load, ADS 2.5 rear resi shocks, ADS bump stops and 1.25 wheel spacers.. Thank you to my brother for all the help and to @tazfabrication for the usage if tools and shop space

 

Been a long wait but finally got the new shell placed and some new BFG KM3s. We will see how they are down the road but so far it’s like driving in a cloud. Now to get the prinsu rack installed…

 

Welp the worst thing happened on one of the easiest installs. .

Totally expect to get ragged on for it. It’s my fault 100%

Went to install the meso kit for the transfer switch and I guess when I took it apart I tweaked the little connectors. Put it all back together and the truck kept saying it was in 4Lo, even though the switch says 2wd. Take it back apart try and slightly move it up back to where it was and the dumb think snapped off. Feel like such an idiot so now I have to buy a whole new switch.
I’m not even sure if I can drive the truck when it thinks it’s in 4 LO.
