    Gwyn's son refuses to sell it, and to be quite honest he doesn't even like me driving it, but Gwyn overruled him on that one...

    Movie was awesome, and Marissa Tomei is still a total hottie even though she's pushing 60!

    It's supply and demand. When supply is plentiful dealerships can afford to make a smaller profit on a large numbers of vehicles. When supply is tight they have to make larger profit on fewer vehicles. They have to make money, just as any business does.

    Go price a microwave or a washing machine at Lowes right now.

    FWD alone would run circles around a RWD pickup in inclement weather. If you've managed in your Tacoma for these years in PA a Maverick would be a snow cat in comparison

    In a perfect world where money wasn't an issue, I'd buy a brand new Tacoma; I have good credit and could get a good interest rate, but I guarantee you I wouldn't be able to get the exact truck I wanted. Also, I'm immensely attached to my current truck; My parents just want me to get a new vehicle because of the safety features like automatic braking. I don't feel like financing a vehicle in a seller's market.

    And also, if a Ford Hybrid is anything like a Prius, the hybrid system will give out after the warranty is up with my luck and I'll have to spend thousands to get fix or replace it.

    You clearly don't know much about the Prius then. They are among the most reliable vehicles on the road

    LOL Ford. Fell Off Road Dead or is it Found On Road Dead.

    Check out the recalls on ford trucks.

    Living in Detroit area we hear it all. F150, recall for engine fires, recall recalled because it caused more fires that the original recall. Suspension recall, may roll over? Newest. Insulation may fall off and get around drive shaft causing damage to the drive shaft.

    Rule of thumb. Never buy first year of production. Wait a couple years and see what’s up with the vehicle.

    Can’t wait to see the new Pinto.

    The engine is solid, but I've simply heard that the battery packs fail and cost a fortune to replace!

    I love the Prius; Don't tell anyone I said that...

    :anonymous::D

    Almost bought one in March 2021...

    I've just heard that the synergy drive or whatever it's called has been known to give out around 200K; My friend's mom's 2007 Camry Hybrid totally died just shy of 200K earlier this year.

    I would buy a Prius, especially one of those new AWD-e ones, but no dealers in my area seem to have ANY Priuses.

    @Plain Jane Taco

    Wasn't your first car a 4-speed Pinto wagon with A/C that didn't work?

    I actually have a soft spot for Pintos, especially the wagons; Don't know why...

    Again, I would like to say that I was not implying that the Prius is unreliable; I think they are great cars! I just heard that when the hybrid drive systems give out it costs a fortune to replace...

    "In 1958, the company's name was changed to FWD Corporation."

    Therefore, you could definitely put "FWD" and "truck" in the same sentence and have it be right.

    I don't swing that way, so I wouldn't know, but even though I'm 33 and Marissa Tomei is 57 I would still bang her...

    The battery packs are very robust. It's nothing to see 2nd and 3rd gen Prius with 200k, 300k miles on them going strong.

    A few internet stories here and there don't mean a thing. As for the Camry? Had that been a gas version and the transmission went out at 200k miles we would say, "hey that's pretty good. 200k miles is a lot".

    Since the '20 MY all Synergy drive systems which include the traction battery are warranted for 10 years or 150k miles.
