Good morning sleepy head. What about you Brother, any big plans for the night? What's considered excitment for a guy that runs around outside at midnight in his pj's on a regular basis?

 

We let our kid do that but it’s hit or miss if he’s interested in it. We’ll still have him do it but whether he wants to or not is a different story.

How about you?

 

I feel ya! We're going to have some coffee later to try to help us see the ball drop ourselves. Otherwise, a special meal, time with our pups and some champagne, maybe. Or like most years, we'll pass out trying to stay up.

 

Well, our neighbors that normally have decent fireworks have a five month old this year so we're going to have to rely on Dick Clark's festivities, maybe. Might be a good thing though since the new pup is seriously gun shy. She's scared to go out most of time since hunting season started. This damn weather is really screwing up our play/training times I like to use to help her get over it. When we're out there she's good. If we're away from the house hiking in the woods she can't get home fast enough. Just about any loud noise. They're doing construction on house across the creek. When the tandem dumps slam their gate to clear the bed you can feel it. We talked about all four of us going up to Dave's but it would be torture for Maizy. Sux cause' it was Debbie's idea. Maybe she'll get over it.

 

Probably gonna be a little noisy up there today/tonight between fireworks and gun shots.

 

Yeah, it IS that time of year

Well, that driver's side slider is twice the work of the passenger I did yesterday.

 

I did a driver seat swap today!

 

The last time I drove it, it was going in and out just fine. But thats also after I checked vacuum lines and jostled around the connections for the actuators inside the driver’s side fender. No idea.

I havent driven it since 12/22.

Its either a bad ground or dirty vacuum lines

 

Thankfully, it's been quiet here tonight. Typically though, yeah, pretty noisy. I bet your new neighbors are ringing in the new year proper.

Please tell me you cleaned that carpet before you reinstalled it

 

Wouldn’t know we didn’t go up this weekend we had to put down our dog last night so wasn’t in the mood to go party. Both our dogs had tumors this year and had to be put down in the last 4 months so 2021 can’t end quick enough.

 

Man that sucks big time. I had to put ours down last year. Still miss him every day. So sorry.

I've always thought I'd have the Grit to handle that task if needed but after watching our one girl cower in the basement hall and the other one help us comfort her by hiding under blankets with her.........

I know the feeling all to well -had to put our boxer down a while back - It’s been ROUGH- but now we have a new puppy and boy oh boy god makes them CUTE because there so dam ROTTEN- he’s a handful !!
