    Regear? That’s a possibility.

He can get away from the regear if he does one of the tunes, makes a big difference, but it does affect fuel economy.

A little something every chance we get.
:proposetoast: Good Morning and Happy New Year everyone! I was the last one out at 10:30, after a couple rounds grazing the munchie spread. Well, poor Rex was up a while longer until the idiots stopped popping off.
About half hour to Carol's New Year black eyed pea cornbread comes out of the oven. Good luck you know.
I'll just wish for 2022 not to be 2021! It even got Betty White at the end.

I’m daily driving either my 08 or my work truck, so the Sport has downgraded to Saturday night dinner rig. Fuel economy is not something I’m concerned about with the Sport, but a tune has been on my mind now that there’s a KDMax tuner in McAllen.

The same to you Chas! Hope its a great one man
Lol nothing currently slated for demolition today:D

Gonna have to find something to work on though
Good morning Kurt and happy new year buddy!
If youre not ruling it out as a possibility i say go for the 285/75s and see how it drives and go from there. I know the diameter is an issue on mine though, mine are 33.23” and at full stuff they want to eat the fender flares lol. Still need to address that. But the tall skinny 285s definitely fit way better than my old 295/70r17s. I think a slightly narrower tire will serve you well

I didnt think of that, thats another great option and much cheaper than going full commit on a regear

Im running mud flaps with mine i just cut some holes in them and they only rub in reverse at lock. Rockblocz might be a better option i just wanted to make what i have work

    Let me rephrase…

I’m lazy and DO NOT want to put in the work in order to make 285’s fit.

Have you decided on a load range yet? I have thought about going back to a 285/70 to save lots of weight since they offer some in c load or standard load.

Who knows though, there’s some unicorns out there who fit 285’s without spacers, on stock wheels and a 3” lift. Wonder if aligning the LCA’s towards the front helps.

That being the case maybe some 255s would serve you well. 33” tire but pretty much no cutting reqd from what ive read on 3rd gens

C load, definitely C load. I’m currently running a 2/1.5 spacer lift with 265/70/17 KO2’s in C. This truck rides way nicer than my 2008 with 6112’s and E rated KO2’s.

255’s look like the truck skips leg day.
