Happy New Year everyone! I just got my 2020 Tacoma 2.7L 4x4 Access Cab and love it so far. My daily driver for the last 12 years was/is a 1995 Bronco that I love but I'm planning on lots of road trips this year and 6000 pound, 11 mpg truck isn't going to cut it.
I had an 85 and 91(bought new)Toyota trucks in the past and neither refused to die, both were sold with over 250k miles and still were going strong, so deciding on a replacement for the Bronco was a no brainer.
I was leaning towards the V-6 but Access Cab's with the V-6 seemed really hard to find, for some reason 3rd gen Access cabs are almost non-existent here in California. I really wanted to do a factory order but both the dealers and Toyota said they are not doing any factory orders.
Anyway, thanks for having me and Happy New Year

Thanks for your replies and warm welcome! Wasn't able to get pics today, will get some tomorrow.
But actually I am thinking of returning this truck and continue my quest for a V-6. I took it for a long drive through some hills, grades etc and was not impressed. I knew the 2.7L would be a little lacking which is fine for daily commutes but I'm planning on long road trips through the PNW and Canada, I also plan on bigger tires and getting a 4 Wheel pop up camper so I think a V-6 would better suit my needs

Well, after driving it a few more days I've decided the 2.7L ain't so bad, figuring out the automatic and getting used to driving it really helped.
I've been driving a 06 Mustang GT and 95 Bronco for so long the little four banger was a shock to my system lol
