Just woke up from a somewhat sleepless night from this severe weather . Tornado watch has expired but there is still the threat of severe t storms until late tonight

 

This is so true.
Your a very wise man.
I will have to remember this when I spend time with my grandkids.

Ahhh come on , can't be all that bad !!

My Brother last night made a comment about all the fireworks going off at at 1800hrs last night around his neighborhood . He mentioned that this is nothing compared to the locals on the Hawaiian Islands over there .Sounds like a war zone with even the sound of auto weapons going off

Even here at my new place in Gallatin Tn , even with the threat of severe weather conditions I heard alot of large mortar rds going off until at least 0300hrs

 

Our neighbors set some off at midnight and it took our poor, little dog some time to calm down.

Collard greens seasoned with pork and black eyed peas southern New Year’s Day tradition. The old folks at one time dropped a penny in the peas. I’ll pass on that tradition. And the instant pot is a modern twist but I think grandma would approve.
