    Hey All!
    I'm from Northern BC!
Just got my first Tacoma after a lifetime of domestics!
2021 SR5 in Silver Sky Metallic!
    6-foot box!
I don't have many mods planned for it yet outside of some shock upgrades and potentially some Cascadia solar and Greenlane Offroad protection (Canadian so I got to support my own)
My first mod will be a Go Fast Camper as I generally road trip a ton and want to have a place to lock up my mountain bikes while sleeping!

My main use of the truck is getting to hiking trails, bike trails and supporting my packrafting/bikerafting adventures!

I am glad to finally have a truck that has some form of reliability behind it.

Welcome to Tacomaworld! Love the color of your truck :D.

If you have the means, consider a pic thread of your rafting adventures. Got to be some pretty scenery up there in BC.

Congrats on the truck, be safe out there

    I will definitely try.
I have to do some whitewater training up in Whitehorse early summer then I'll be more comfortable on the solo ventures in the area.
Enjoy a couple of these from my last couple winter adventures in the North (I had more in between but those were when I lived in the Kootenays and on the Island)IMG_5145.HEIC.jpg IMG_20200223_121213.jpg IMG_20200125_113726.jpg

Welcome to Tacoma World! The last time I drove through Dawson Creek, it was early July 2011 with a 26' Adventure in Moving with household goods and a 1946 Aeronca Champ stuffed in the box. It had been raining for a solid week before my daughters (driving the '07 Malibu, unwilling to try the GMC box truck) and I drove through DC slowly as the water was nearly up to the highway, and cows were looking dismayed. "We didn't sign up to forage like moose!" Hard to believe it's been 10.5 years since I retired from Cordova, Alaska! Takhini River Hot Springs and the Coffee Co. are great stops at Whitehorse (and the museums, too).

The restaurant in Chetwynd, BC next to the motel was definitely packed that evening. I walked around town the next morning, taking great photos of the chainsaw carvings (thoroughly rinsed, and evenly lit under the gray sky). The two RCMP men dining at the next table were worn out that evening. A pilot friend from the Denver area emailed photos taken by one of his pilot friends of train derailments along the Peace River. And I have yet to stop in Hudson's Hope for the best burgers on the AlCan!

Just looked at this site bctoyota4wd.ca Could be the place to find BC sources for Tacoma equipment there... We've got snow on the way to the Inland Northwest tonight and tomorrow with a big storm that was dumping on Snoqualmie and Stevens Passes this morning. As the drought condition recedes from Extreme Stage 4 to Stage 3, we're all hoping the next 3-month forecast of "wetter than Normal" and "colder than normal" holds true to recharge groundwater supplies in WA, OR, ID, and western MT.

I sure hope you can get the groundwater recharged!

I am hoping this winter snow helps replenish the glaciers that we all rely on for water as well.

We are currently 35 degrees below freezing and have been for the last week.
