    Wondering about 2 mods for a 2021 SR5 4x4:

    1.) OEM mud flaps.
    2.) OEM bed lights.

Any tips on these 2 mods would be appreciated.

Don't have mudflaps on my truck but I did install them on my rav4. Pretty straight forward and plenty of room to work with.

I think the "hardest" part about the bed lights is getting the tail lights off. I really had to tug on them to have them snap out.

This, everything is pretty easy to install. Just dont do it if its super cold out or you risk breaking anything plastic. But since your in FL, I dont think you will have a issue.

I wouldn't be too worried about that. I pull mine out a couple of times per year to swap out the bulbs with the LEDs I use in the summer. Just pull straight back and you'll be ok. The wiring harness has plenty of slack for the job as well. I usually will place a microfiber towel down on the bumper cap to let the taillight rest against to avoid scratches.

Since its your first time taking off the tail lights, I would recommend putting blue painters tape around the opening for the tail light before you pull it off. Sometimes when you pull off the tail light you end up recoiling forward with the light in hand and can hit the bedsides scratching the paint.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
They are - BUT you'll have to run wires up to the passenger side kick panel. Judging from what I read here, it's not especially difficult. It does require getting under your truck to tie up the wiring. Take your time and follow the instructions. Search for the threads here on How to Install.

I dont think he needs to do that since he has a 2021. It should be pre-wired from the factory.

Installing OEM bed light has been the easiest mod I've done to my truck. I think it was removing two bolts pulling the light out and connecting a male to female. Reinstall bolt and done. Took me 10 minutes tops.
