The problem is going to be finding a temporary spot for it while I convert the carport to a garage at the new place. There's a shed, but it can only store so much. Woulda loved to have found a house that already had one, but between the market and the location of this house I had to cave in. Atleast I'll be able to build it up strong and insulated. Getting a low clearance garage door is gonna be expensive though... o_O

New neighbors are gonna love the mower parked on the back porch though

Congratulations on the house! I remember you were looking, did I miss the news or is this the first time you have mentioned it?

How about the old side hinge style doors? You could build them yourself even. Can't use an opener with them though.

I have lived here 28 years, if the previous owners came back they would recognize almost everything because it is just about the same as they left it, just much older... Don't want to rush into any remodeling projects you know. ;)

That and money.... Skill isn't a bad thing to have either, me and a piece of wood have never been friends.

Nor I; while I appreciate the precision of working with metal, sometimes the ease with which wood can be beaten into submission with a BFH isn't bad either! :D

Heh, guess you found it on the PA thread :D

Hinge style doors are not an option for me. One being I'm lazy and need an opener, and two I'll have a car parked up against the door most of the time which leaves no swing out. I think they make a low-profile track for a 7' high door, if not they make 6' 6" garage doors.

The new drier is in place the dedicated outlet is installed I need to put the plug on the drier it has only been 5 years the plug sits on the drier.

I should have just used a disconnect and called it good.

I like metal: cut it, grind it, weld it -- if you mess up grind it off and weld it again.

I have never had a piece of metal warp because I left it leaning against the bench over the weekend either. Wood .... :frusty:

I failed Wood Shop I was asked to sign a legal document I would not touch wood but in the processing of Fire Wood .

That has worked rather well for me.

This reminds me of years ago I think my Senior year in school .

Helping a Nerdy friend put a clutch in something..

He was just different not in a bad way .

As I needed and used a tool He walked the 100' to the Tool box in the garage got the tool I needed the second I set it on the ground knowing I would need it again in 5 minutes it gets carried back to the tool box wiped clean and put away .

Even telling Him just leave it here back it would go ! That was one of the longest days I ever had .

Later talking to his Mother She said He was always like that it started with Toys she has no idea who it came from on the top or bottom side of the family

But I googled it, and even clicked on images. Was shocked at what was seen! Everything from hairless deer, to other things…
