Recently my passenger side DRL keeps turning off. It’ll come back on if I turn the headlights on then off. I recently installed new OEM headlight assemblies. I also have an ARB bumper. It wasn’t an issue until I replaced the headlight assemblies and the bulbs in the bumper (direct replacements with same bulb numbers). Saw one other thread while searching but he seemed to do more splicing than I did. Any help is appreciated.

Does the turn signal work when this happens?
Does the indicator for the turn signal work on the dash when this happens?

I’d probably pull the bulb out and see if I’m working with a power or ground issue.
That way, you know where to start.

The turn signal does come back on and work when I hit the stalk. Then the light stays on for another 4-5 minutes and goes off again.

It’s strange that only 1 side does it (passenger side).
And that can be made to work again by turning the Lights on and off.

Here is how I “Think” the system works.

The Body ECU signals the Flasher to turn on BOTH Turn Signal.
The Flasher sends Power to the bulbs.

Therefore, I would not except it to be an ECU problem.
It may be a bad Flasher?

@Dm93 might know more about the workings of the system.
My truck doesn’t have DTRL’s. So I’m not too familiar with the system.

Correct, the Body ECU sends the DRL signal to the Flasher Module and the Flasher Module turns on the front turn signal bulbs for DRL.
You need to check pin 2 (Red/Yellow) of the Flasher Module for power when the bulb goes out, if there's no power there you have a bad Flasher Module, if there is power there you have a wiring issue or bad bulb.
The Flasher Module is mounted just to the left of the steering column (see this thread).

Ok so new development. Now both sides turn off after being on for a bit. Haven’t had the chance to check the flasher module, planned on doing that this weekend. Could it be the module if both sides go off? Both sides do come back on if I hit the blinkers or turn on my headlights and turn them back off.

I fixed it. ARB lights have a green wire for turn signal and red for parking lights. I hooked up both together figuring more light is better. Then I had the same problem. I disconnected the red parking lamp wire and it works fine now.
