Any updates to this? I know it hasn’t been long but there is a lot of positive with the LCE header, and it seems simple to install. Really thinking about one for my 2020 SR. I’ve never really done mods but this seems pretty doable to me at my level of experience.

only reason I havent pulled the trigger is the $450 price tag, at $350 I’d consider it. Also the fact that the air injection switching valve will require grinding, as is stated by a couple 4/5 star reviews on their website. I’ll hope for lower prices once my warranty is expired

Makes sense. I really like the idea of the lower end power and torque gains. I’ve also seen people post about gaining mpg on the highway, which is appealing to me since I drive mostly highway. Unfortunately the ones they make don’t fit the 2020 models. So until they make the adjustments I won’t be able to get one.

I think that LCE has changed the design of their 2TR header to one that does not require grinding and fits more model years. I have a LCE on my 2018 and it drives much better than stock, if I could just get the $450 back for it, I would not consider it! A 2.7 in a 4000lbs truck makes for a turtle, Toyota should have made the truck liter or gave it more hp! I also have an aftermarket cat-back exhaust on it, with all this it drives fairly well for what it is.

They just recently dropped the equal length header from catalog and replaced it with a more similar to stock header. Is that what you’re talking about? Also, what cat-back are you running?

Yeah, that's it, and I'm running the stock CAT. CAT bolts to header, cat-back clamps to cat!

I've had the equal length one one for a while now. Simple bolt-off bolt-on installation, no grinding.

With the new LCE header design, is it still worth the $$ ?

I have about every bolt on besides the LCE header. I have cold air intake, throttle controller, and magnaflow catback.

It was always worth it, whether or not it was equal length or not.

It’s a must do mod for the 2.7. I’m also running a AFE mid pipe. Bringing the peak torque way down from 3800rpm is a big deal. Less down shifting at highway speed was what I really noticed.

Dumb question, but what exactly is the midpipe? Is that the section where the cats are?
