Technically East German, but yeah; A symbol of the epic failure of communism, but I still have a soft spot for them...

I’ve got a large collection at this point of random cars (well 4 are tacomas…). There’s many more I want to buy. But I need to get these done. Lol

Also, what was this thread about again? I’ve lost track:rofl:

OK now I need to know the full story

9 years for me as we've talked about.

I didn't mind the Frontier I had for 2 months this summer..2019 or 2020, I forget. Not sure I can fairly compare ride b/c that was a DCSB.

Long ago my friend had a mid 80s Ford Escort and the same thing happened. Granted we are in New England but yikes. His wheel was crooked and I told him drive it home at 25mph, take the plates off, and don't drive it again.

Yeah I think you hold off on this change for a few reasons Charlie. The high prices now, the fact that your rig is in great shape, and I'd never buy a first couple of years of a run just for starters.

Who posted this? It reads like a pretty damn good argument for not selling a truck. Probably left off a couple of minor things like may have "saved my life from some drunk" who ran into me, paid for, 143K highly reliable miles and likely good for a minimum of 143K more, as good if not better resale value than any vehicle in America...

And after reading this about the new Bronco, imagine the quality control that goes into a 1st year Maverick!

Yeah...no; Would sell my truck to buy a 3rd Gen though, preferably an AC TRD Off-Road in Army Green!

And if I had the money I would not mind paying sticker for a new or slightly used 3rd Gen Taco; Problem is, I doubt I'll be able to find the color and options I want!

So for years the dashcam has always been on the driver's side and the EZ Pass has always been on the passenger side; I bought a new dashcam in like May or June of 2021 and immediately discovered that it's shape and size didn't allow me to position the rear view mirror exactly the way I wanted without pushing the camera upwards and often activating the impact sensor. The first Thinkware dashcam started having problems, first with the memory card having to be reformatted constantly, and then the rear camera totally shitting the bed; I exchanged the failing Thinkware for another more expensive Thinkware using my Geek Squad plan and paid the difference...
