Curious if anyone has the Martin off-road rack and left it on before installing their GFC?

I have the Foundation Camper rack, so I’m hoping to put it on before the GFC install.

Heard back from Mike at GFC: "If it is the rack that Martin Racks builds specifically for the GFC it should not matter either way. I am not sure it would change the install process in any way." So it's ok, I guess?

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
they are a leather flexible with some of the things they say not to have installed. If it’s the half rack from Martin, then it’s one of those loophole items. I had some upgraded bed rail sides like @fatfurious2 and they still installed ours even though they clearly state to remove them

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Looks excellent! I bought a second one for my tundra.

Anyone using the ICON RXT leaf pack with a GFC camper on? Wondering if I should set it to option 3 or 2 before getting the camper.

recently sold the RXT pack that I’ve had from day 1, gen1 camper, but had it on option 3 to give the proper lift and rake. Upgraded to Deaver 700-1000lbs as I’ve added more weight and while the Icon RXT leaf pack was good it did begin to settle more over time to a position that wasn’t working well with towing a trailer at times as well. otherwise the option/stage 3 was great.

I used 3/8" grommets. Did not use the bar.

You won’t be disappointed. It raised the rear another 2 inches with the same weight so I had to remove the batwing awning to get in the garage. Mainly did the upgrade in anticipation of a C4 high clearance rear bumper install later this month and I knew it would be a necessity over the Icon RXT setup. Should settle back nicely but we’ll see

I used both the bar and the grommets.... the bar after cutting it down slightly fits int the curve of the upper side bars and that'll help carry a bit more weight as I have it crammed full of stuff

I run the RXT on my truck with a Vagabond Drifter with a 270 awning and full bed build-out. I don't have any bumpers or other exterior mods in the back. The truck probably 600-700lbs in the rear on a daily basis and another couple hundred for a camping trip (including a full bike rack). I'm super happy with it after about two years; it's a perfect balance for me of handling daily weight without getting too overloaded when I'm packed to the gills.

Yep, sorry, meant to include that bit!

Edit: Sits at about 2 inches of lift with camper and build out. I'd say it drops about an inch fully loaded. For reference, the front is lifted about 2.5 inches and I'm running 285/70r17 KO2s. So it's pretty level unloaded and a slight rear sag fully loaded.
