They sure are! As long as they hold up I will recommend them to anyone and everyone. I have been doing a lot of deep snow unmaintained back road driving, as well as ice, packed snow and slush. Great in all conditions. And yeah, way up top in the U.P. is always great. Bete Grise and Copper harbor are always a good time.

DE82994D-4613-4A69-9BD9-AF29A47E446F.jpg Firestone Destination tires on my ‘21 Sport absolutely suck in the snow. I wish I could get new tires but they only have 10,000 miles. I might get another set of wheels and find some winter tires to switch next year. Anyone have extra Garage storage for a set of mounted tires on 17” wheels?

I replaced my OEM tires at 1300 miles and about 3 weeks into owning mine. Toyota does not put Snow rated tires on their vehicles. They put 3 season tires with low rolling resistance for fuel economy ratings.

Having only 10000 miles isn't really a good reason to keep shitty tires. Your best bet with a Toyota 4 x 4 is to put good tires on it right off the bat and try to sell the piece of s*** OEM tires for a few bucks.

If you decide to put real tires on it, you are welcome to throw the firestone's in my garage until you sell them.

I also changed out my OEM tires under 2000 miles when I had my 18 Sport. Sold them off fairly easily to help recoup some of the cost. Can't put a price on safety.

Considering how long your commute is, that is enough reason in my mind to get better tires.
If you decide to get some dedicated snows I'm sure I can find a spot for your OEM wheels in my garage or shed.

Those photos are sweet!. My goal for this year is to explore the U.P. more.

That stinks. I had Destination ATs on both my 95 Pathfinder and my 06 LJ and they were fantastic

    Destinations aren't OEM tires....

That does not make what I said any less true.

So you are saying that @BookieBob replaced crappie OEM tires with different crappy tires? I don't pay attention to what they put on Tacomas

Edit: I see that they were, in fact, OEM tires.
