I just got mine in. Honestly I thought they were gonna be just a decent headlight. I was very impresses with it much more then I expected and yes the signal lenses are clear it may appear to be yellow because the light bulb it comes with is yellow. Buy it bro it's an awesome product. I'm gettn mine installed this week.

The running lights are yellow. That's the only part everything else is clear with the black inside.

There's other ones out there that have no yellow in the but I don't think revotec carries them.

Heres mine. The inner lens are clear and i removed the orange bulb and use yellow, i like the contrast. I also ran a bead of silicone all around both headlamps. Better safe then sorry. I'll ditch these when i do my retro to stock headlamps. trdtruckedit.jpg

I have the sames ones, didn't install yet...

Outxider Where exactly did you put the bead of silicone?

Also was any adjusting needed to point the lights properly,or are they set up out of the box?

I see each light has 2 adjusters up/down side to side, but do you turn the nut on the rear of the adjuster or do you turn the weel

Any pics of how to use the adjusters?

Thanks for any info or pics

I am also thinking of these lights. I have heard that the light output is less than the oem lights. Did you notice any less light after installing these lights? I guess that sealing the lights is a must. I like them but I am a little iffy about quality (fogging) and light output. Just dont have the time for bhlm.

I have DDM tuning 5k hids in them and not very impressed w it all. A lot of hot spots and i had to do some minor adjustments to get the beam pattern straight. Will be ditching these soon once i get my retro parts for my oem headlamps. I ran the silicone all around where the lens meet w the housing. I noticed there wasn't much glue in some areas.

Overall fitment is excellent and the headlamps look great. The hids help out alot in terms of lighting. Haven't been flash by any drivers. Just needs proper adjustment and extra silicone for added insurance.

I just read in another thread that people liked the ebay lights' beam pattern fien. Tell me honestly, is it that bad or are you holding it to a strict ruler?

And yours are revotec? without colors in the signals?

It's not bad but its not good. It's decent. I have the revotec headlamps. The turn signals lens are clear. I chose to run a yellow bulb for better contrast. The parking lights were carried over from my stock headlamps. They are very clean for what they are. I rather go full retro once i gather my parts.

I'll be installing mine soon and will report back

I'm not that worried about the light output, cause I have HID fogs

My Fog Light Hids will make up for any light lost

It's bad because you're using a HID system mated to a halogen reflector. It's not going to be good.

Ah, that make sense. And makes me feel better about ordering them.

The people I've shown my BLHM mod to love it and dont see the problems until I point them out...

but it's my damn truck and I know and it bugs me

Yes, i already know this. I should of been more clearer, the pattern was off. After adjusting, it looked decent. It's better then stock bulbs.

    My experience....

I had the revoteks for a while after my BHLM went bad on me twice. What I noticed was that the light output was not as consistently distributed as the stockers. There was a hot spot in the middle (was good to help in aiming though), and the light output to the sides was dimmer. Was it dangerously different,,, no, but it was enough that I swapped the revoteks for a set of TRD smoked stockers as soon as I could. I didn't like the revo's light output enough that I changed 'em.

As for looks, IMHO, the revoteks win since they have the clear turn signal lens and a good quality BHLM look. I replaced the amber TS bulbs with clear bulbs as the Texas DOT states that the front TS bulb can be clear to amber, and I didn't like the egg yolk look behind the lens. I do prefer the BHLM look to the TRD smoked look, but I prefer the stock light output more than the revotek output, so I will stick with my tinted.
