Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Does anyone in here own a Cricut? I bought my wife one for Christmas, now I’m trying to figure out how to use it. She said she wanted one, picked out which one she wanted, but has shown zero interest in it. I’m trying to figure out the best way to convert jpg files to svg files, and have them be an exact match.

 

My wife has one but she just uses the stuff that came with it, hasn’t tried to get fancy with it…….yet.

 

Damn! It was 53 here yesterday, about 32 today. I'm ok with winter so far.

I washed one of my tractors yesterday and had to file the points to get it started afterwards. Think it’s time for a new set. Had to file them about 5 times.

I haven't done it and I'm not sure if it will get you what you want but it appears that GIMP can be used to make SVG files.

 

I think I’ve got it in a SVG file now, but the stupid thing doesn’t want to print it the way I want it. It wants to print so that it saves vinyl, I’m saying full speed ahead for the maiden voyage!

 

You can spray the distributor cap with rattle can clear coat, the Bakelite gets porous over time allowing the moisture to work through.

Part of me wishes he would've shot one to see how he would've drug it home, the other part of me wants him to get discouraged and never come back.
