I am not trying to start a new forum for a simple question.... do I need an alignment on my OR when I switched over to 275/70/17? I am waiting for my lift to arrive in a few more weeks and do not want to blow out my tires

Changing wheels and/or tires doesn't disturb the alignment. If your alignment was OK to begin with, then you don't need another one after changing tires. If your alignment was bad before, it will continue to be bad and cause accelerated wear on your new tires.

The Gear Tech Protec splash guards have a bit more coverage than OEM, particularly around the shock tower. They keep a bit more junk out of the engine compartment, that's about it.

If you have free time and want to save some money, get bulk rubber sheets and a leather punch, and make your own.

Just took it for a drive. Just wanted to see how it does now that it's gotten cold out. Happily no issues other than a clunking sound slowing down, but I'm pretty sure it's my gear box hitting the cargo bar I put in.

I bought a complete package/setup from the buy/sell forum. The company that the scoop light came from is SpartanX customs. It was a complete setup with entire wiring harness, mounting brackets, and light bar.

    Cool.
Thanks for the quick response. I'll have to buy it and add it to the pile of mods for the truck I don't have yet

    Very Nice!

I have the Empyre TRD Pro grill & raptor lights but have not installed it.

The scoop light is also something I'd like to do.

Thanks for the info on the scoop light too!

I've been debating doing this as well. I recall seeing it listed for sale. Only concern was I heard SpartanX had gone out of business unfortunately. Looks great. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. Love the look.

Took advantage of a somewhat warm 55° morning here in PA to wash the truck by hand. Its been through the touchless a couple times, but that doesn't get everything. Probably spent an hour pressure washing off the salt and gunk from the undercarriage and body.

Also am needing to tow a trailer for a little bit while moving so I put in the receiver full of Fluid Film so it won't corrode or get stuck. Also refreshed the dielectric grease in the light connector.
