Just like Georgia, you guys just aren't built for that. No snow plows or sand/salt trucks, etc.

When we still lived in Georgia, my dad came home early from work one day. My mom asked why he was home and he said they sent him home because it snowed. She looked outside and it had already melted.

Hah, damn. I was born and raised in MD and PA, when I moved down to Mississippi and it would occasionally snow. People would freak out and I'd be like "uhh so???". Did fine in my 2wd Frontiers I had at the time. Although the lack of salting of the roads did make it a little bit more slick.

We do a crew change at my work every 6 months. I’ve been in the shop since July, A/C in the hot and heat when it’s cold. Well, I’m going back to to the field tomorrow, and the forecasted high? Well it’s 15 degrees. That’ll be an eye opener.

Reminds me, I need to start looking at tires for the '21. At 14K miles the current factory tires are 1/2+ worn and starting to slip in the rain pretty bad. Gonna be an expensive year between the house and vehicles :annoyed:

Is it too late to shift to the crew that's inside during the winter?

There’s only one, and I’m leaving it now. I told them at my last review I didn’t learn anything in the shop and needed to hang around another 6 months, but they didn't believe me.

I’m hoping to buy new tires this Spring. Christmas and house/vehicle insurance pushed the tire purchase back a few months. Plus I hate shopping for tires.

    Morning

Thinking a trip to Harbor Freight today to pick up a el-cheapo winch.
May put a winch lift on the blower for the tractor.
Wet snow really makes it a bear to lift. Think I’m bending the lift
    arm..

Little bit of this and that
Will ask my wife what/how she uses for this. She was able to convert a letter from her dad to a file and printed/cut it out onto heat transfer vinyl with hers. Not sure if she scanned it or what though to import it into the cricut program for cutting.

Bad storms rolling across N.C this morning. Winds up to 40 mph and raining sideways. Supposed to change over to snow before it moves out around noon. Could hear trees popping but so far none have come down.
