    Welcome to TW!

Recovery gear will be required for this adventure. Front and rear recovery points as well.

Something simple like this for the 2" receiver is a perfect rear recovery point.

Kinetic recovery ropes are now recommended for snatch pull recovery's, instead of old style straps.

We ran trail #93 on VMUTS yesterday, one of the dedicated snow wheeling trails. Just as we thought it needed to be cleared. No one has been on it yet this season. We were the 1st tracks everywhere.

Forgive this old map, but it has all the trails I am speaking of.

We now have as dedicated snow wheeling trails, #93 and #70. #70 is a mixed bag. It has 2 out bridges that have been out for years. Which means it does not get used, so sections are very over grown. You can not run it all the way through, as the bridges are out, so you have to turn around and go back. It all depends on the amount of snow to make anything fun.

Last year it took me and Jerimiah 7.5 hours to run #93, this run took around 5 hours and we cleared 2 large tree's. Every year the trail is a bit different, water pools, and drains different.

The level of snow makes the biggest difference, we did not have a ton of snow out there right now, the only challenge yesterday was the ice under the snow. It is solid ice under the snow, so when you atttempt anything, and spin. Start over on a different run cuz you aint going up solid ice.

This 1st large set of widow makers was stopping anyone brave enough to go out here. As this was right near the entrance off trail #36

We cut a path under, then Jeremiah took his heep though. We hooked up a strap to the large supporting snapped one, and he ran it down the trail. This brought down the big one so we could clear it all.

Remember that dead end we camped at in the summer. It is on the snow wheeling trails. Right around trail #14.

Well I don't see this possible with such a big group to do one trail lol unless everyone like seeing tail lights of each other:bananadead:

Let's figure how many trails are there open, length and average time to complete? @llamasmurf
