If it were my truck, I wouldn't have done it, but I what I should have said is that it turned out better than I thought; When I hear that my uncle lowered his truck, I initially cringed...

If this were my truck, I'd leave it at stock height and add TRD Off-Road wheels!

Another one I found at Thompson Toyota today; Cool-looking truck, maybe until you look closely and realize that it's a base model with about $13K in add-ons...

Agreed; They should have done it to an SR5 or a TRD Sport...

This same dealer gave a base 2021 DCSB a "Back to the Future" look earlier this year and it seems like it sat on the lot for a couple months...

Why? Likely because people don't want to pay fifty grand for a gussied up base model! o_O

Well they took the fun out of having an SR and the owner customizing it as they wish.

man, those line prices take the term stealership to a whole new level
looking at just the stuff that is crazy easy to "install"...emblem overlays are $150 before dealer discount, they want $400 installed. black lug nuts are $65 for all 4 corners before dealer discount, they want double that to put them on. I can only imagine how cheap those $1700 LED pods and bar are on Amazon/ebay, and I'm not sure I even want to see what is more than likely a hack wiring job. Lift kit and grille is under $1200 from a dealer, they are asking almost 3x that amount after install.

‍♂️ At least the buyer is getting something for the increased amount over msrp.

That's better than slapping a $10k "market adjustment" on it.

Ironic that some some dealers will not sell us a Pro Grill without a pro VIN, yet they will add it themselves to a base model to get more money for it.

Well, the markup is for the real turn-to-start key that you'll get... right?
