The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certainly seems to think so, as it is required to be registered as a truck...

I agree; Honestly, if I had the money, I'd keep the truck and buy an AWD Prius...

I didn't know what a Maverick was until this post, and no offense, but this is an abomination. I think your current truck is awesome, and you will regret your decision in the long run. If anything, hold on to your truck until more Tacomas are available, and upgrade to a new or used Tacoma. They hold their value for a reason.

I've decided at this point that I'm going to save my money and buy an AWD Prius in a couple years, but I'm gonna keep truck; Yes, I said Prius...

    :anonymous:

The truck will do everything a truck is supposed to do, and the Prius will do everything the truck can't, like seating more than two people comfortably, driving in deep snow, and getting something actually resembling decent fuel economy.

@Plain Jane Taco and his wife had a leased Prius, and it's the one vehicle his wife regrets parting with!

I say again that yes, I want a Prius, but I am keeping the truck!

Right on! I rented one in Colorado, because that's all the had left, and it was one of the best cars I've ever driven, and I drove around almost all of Colorado in 1 tank!

I actually been looking for one as a daily driver. I think that's a great idea.

I test drove a 2010 in March of 2021; It was in mint condition and Thompson Toyota only wanted like $5,600 but it had like 168K miles. I loved the car, but I was scared away by something of which I wasn't the original owner having that many miles!

The Prius is a solid car. I work on 300k mile taxis quite a bit at the dealer.

Ooops. Unlike girl friends, who might not understand, I guarantee your truck won’t care if just bought another, had two and lived in sin. Really, it’s not worth that much to sell or trade in. Just think how happy you could be with two trucks you could “swap off as you wish.”

I do think I'm gonna be buying a Prius at some point in the next few years; I used to make fun of Priuses, but it is a Toyota with the same quality and reliability as my Tacoma, and you just can't beat the gas mileage. I would keep the Tacoma and buy a 2019-present Prius AWD to "supplement" the Tacoma. I have serious doubts about Ford, but if something happened to my Tacoma today, I would use the insurance money to put a down payment on a Prius in a heartbeat!

    Sounds like a keeper.
One for a “wild ride” and the other for practicality.
Buying a new car every once in a while to satisfy your changing “ needs” is a lot cheaper then changing houses or wives. Good choice.
Cars and trucks aren’t mistresses. It’s a proven fact that a man cannot live-by one vehicle alone. Enjoy, and if the need arises again, go for it.

At some point, you can just call yourself a “ collector” with a harem of vehicles? ;) I’ve yet to know one guy who doesn’t collect something. Cars included.

Returned to Chapman this morning and found the beige XL had been sold, but they had a fully loaded First Edition Lariat on the showroom floor that I could actually sit in!

Interior; Very nice, but wasn't particularly fond of the power seat adjustment though...

I’m getting serious Honda Ridgeline vibes from the way the cab and bed meet.
