Gdam, needed under a half hour to fill before bedtime last night. Went to my standby Modern Family on Netflix. Holy crap! It's gone! No notice that it'll be going soon or anything,, just gone. Piss me off!

I've always opted out of paying more for ad-free, thinking I could easily just tune them out and it was no big deal.

Then I got Paramount Plus, and for some stupid reason (probably deliberate) they play these long ass pharmaceutical ads during shows and if there's one thing I hate more than anything else in life, it's pharma ads. Don't get me started on those. I'm going to have to upgrade on that account at least just to make them stop.

the whole idea of pharma ads just rubs me wrong. 30 seconds of air time citing all the horrible potential side effects including death while someone runs around smiling and playing with their dogs/kids in the background the whole time. It's just ridiculous to me on so many levels lol. I'd rather go see a doctor for treatment recommendations than have pharma try and sell me on theirs. But doctors get kickbacks and shit from them to push their stuff as well so I guess it's all a moot point. Their ads suck though

Still need to watch the new season of Dexter, just haven't wanted to add Showtime to my subscription plan on Hulu again lol. Nothing else on there that I want to see, at least not yet. I heard they're going to do a season 2 of Your Honor though which should be good, I liked season one a lot.

Almost finished rewatching The Wire on HBO. Still probably my favorite show of all time, it just holds up so well.

Im a first hand example of medications fucking you up. I dont trust drug companies or docs anymore.

I was being treated for pericarditis, on e that was gone, ive needed multiple surgeries to fix what yhe drugs did to the rest of me.
