I’m seeing this rumor/report that Caleb William Oklahoma’s qb is entering the transfer portal and is apparently heading to Georgia as boosters are offering him between 1-2 million to come to Athens. Other reports are also stating he’s doing this get more money from OU boosters.
Has anyone heard any of this?
I’m not 100% how the NIL works. Is this possible?

If they watched him play this year, they’d know this is not a good deal.

If you’re talking about players going to the highest bidder, people predicted and some is saying that’s why A&M has the highest recruiting class ( ignoring the fact that Fisher has typically recruited well).
As far as Williams goes I don’t know that much about him, other than he took qb1 over Rittler.

I’m seeing similar. I hope he stays put. Stetson, JT, Beck, Brock, and now Gunnar are all in that QB room. I didn’t see anything from Williams that would make me think he’s any better than what little we've seen from JT. And if he does, you’ll have several transfers.

Agree. I figure sooner or later Georgia will see at least one of those guys hit the portal. Im Guessing Beck. I am most excited about Brock and Gunner but I dont expect neither one of them to ride the bench for 4 years as a back up. It would be great to have a season or two with out grumbling from fans about the QB room in Athens.

I expect Beck to transfer this year. If Brock sits again, he’ll probably leave. I’ve been expecting QB transfers for a while now.

If I'm lane kiffin, I’m telling my boosters to get their shit together and offer Williams some big money.

I think coach Harsin is trying to change the culture on the plains and the transfer portal is making it too easy for players to bail.

its been said that with some of if not most of these of programs, its really the boosters and their $$$ running the show. I got a feeling with this new atmosphere in college football, this is going to be more so than before. Can you imagine a coach (of not elite status) not playing the player that the boosters paid big $$$ to get in?

Ojabo has officially declared for the draft early. Can't say I'm surprised considering he's potentially a top 20 draft pick.

All this QB talk going on, doesn't everyone have a Heisman QB coming back next year.

It was reported here last night on local news that Caleb Williams has entered the portal and the UCF QB is transferring to OU. Williams is just shopping for the highest NIL payout.

SEC can get to .500 for final 2021 bowl record with a LSU win over KSU tonight. It's not looking good.

The short answer is yes. Coaches jobs are going to be infinitely harder. The NIL ruling popped the lid off the genie's bottle.

The SEC has a guaranteed loss coming too.

And a guaranteed win. SEC ends 6-8 with 3 of those 6 wins to AL and Georgia. The rest of the conference was 3 -7.

The two best teams without a doubt are playing for the Championship. But they had a real tiptoe through the tulips in the regular season.

Thinking about players chasing the NIL $$, that could bode well for the PAC12. Might be what they needed to be competitive again. Lots of boosters on the left coast with deep pockets. Maybe Riley is smarter than everyone thinks.

If the SEC is top heavy then the other conferences are a mix of mid heavy and bottom heavy.
