Life sucks sometimes. Ive been there. Be angry, be hateful, cry, sit by yourself and do nothing, feel nothing, or feel it all. It gets better eventually, but the pain never goes away. Stay strong brother.

I am considering getting new wheels with hopes of lighter ones to help offset the larger tires. Besides TE37's. I also need to get a set with a lower offset once I finish the front suspension updates. Any other good options?

    Current SCS Ray 10's -38 offset 17's are 25 lb 14 oz.

I thought about going back to the -10 offset and they are 24 lb 14 oz

I could go with SCS F5's in -10 and they are 21 lb 11 oz

Rays TE 37's are closer to 16 lbs. I have heard of some FN that are close to 20.

I could also consider just dealing with it but get some stronger wheels that can air down with some forged Bead locks if I want to go that route. 26 lbs give or take.

Question how much would shaving off 5lbs or event 10lbs from the unsprung weight matter? Already have aftermarket brakes and am soon to swap to 2 piece rotors upfront which will knock some down as well.

Outside of changing up armor and other things and needing new offset wheels nows the time to consider it (I have a lighter front bumper on order as well)

Need to see if I can wake up the S/C by adjusting things to reduce some weight.

Factorystylewheels.com so has some OEM looking options that are pretty light.

I think their newer TRD style in 17x8” is like 19lbs and just above $200 a pop.

I recently changed the clutch in my 6spd and figured id share what i found. Heres what my URD stage 3 looked like after 29k miles of giving her hell. It wasnt slipping but i started to worry whether or not it was going to leave me stranded after reading others reviews on here with URD clutches failing around 30k.

And the new SPEC stage 2+. I must say the pedal feel between these two clutches is a night and day difference. The SPEC is so much lighter and sportier feeling. The URD was literally a dog to push in, where as the SPEC i feel like i could sit in traffic and not totally hate my life. Only have about 500 miles on it, but im enjoying the new one so far!

Oh boy, i bet thats fun to try to wrestle into place. I ordered a Northwest Fab ecocrawler recently so i have this to look forward to. Do you just use a regular transmission jack?

Edit: looks like you have the same harbor freight one as i do

I just went through all of this my man. I shaved as much as I could.. I believe anything helps. Between the lighter Wilwoods and the lighter wheels (Summit Dakars ~23lbs, -25mm offset).. this new wheel/tire/brake combo.. even going up to 35s.. I'm saving ~6lbs per corner up front. The rear I only gained ~5lbs per corner.. because the wheels still helped me there somewhat being lighter than my previous ones. The Wilwoods saved ~11lbs per corner alone. It may be different because I did all those changes at once.. and I really expected a bigger change, for the worse, when I finished it all up. I was actually surprised with how nice it was and felt. Steering, Pep, Braking, etc. I contribute a lot of that to the lighter mass in general.. and the D rated Mickey's. To end my 2cents.. I'm 100 percent content and satisfied with my research, due diligence, and money spent on the changes and upgrades.

yep, just used the same jack u did. biggest thing is to make sure you get it balanced and lined up right on the jack. as u can see mine at the time was twisted. once its level it goes in real easy. i dont think the extra length is any harder to deal with.

    I bought a URD stage 2 that I haven’t installed…….now I’m debating if I should just sell it and buy a spec.
