    Hmm . . . none as yet, that's why i'm here . . .
Idlers/pulleys are drivetrain related in that case, the more you push gas pedal the more they spin.

Realized something today driving from Oregon to San Francisco. While the chirping is happening and I’m in gear and accelerating, if i put light pressure on the clutch (like barely push it) the noise goes away completely. Remove my foot from the clutch and it comes back. So this makes me think throw out bearing? Clutch? Although the clutch isn’t that old.

I agree it’s likely your throw out bearing, based on this comment. Mine has chirped for years. It used to drive me crazy, seeing as it even does it at idle. I rebuilt the clutch slave cylinder as some guys say a new spring helps. But that lasted for about a week and the sound came back

It’s been probably 4 years for me, and I begrudgingly ignore it

That said, my noise is very much a “squeak/chirp”. But it goes away with any clutch pressure at all (like you mentioned). I just watched your video and I can’t say my sound is the same

Yeah mine never does it at idle. Only under load. I haven’t noticed and adverse effects from it either in 5000+ miles. Just annoying. It sounds similar to this video, just not as harsh: https://youtu.be/fkpjOafrU1Q

Like a couple other mentioned, have you ruled out the pulleys and accessories in the engine bay? I had a noise once that drove me crazy and it ended up being my alternator (reman that started making a noise after only a year)…

Does it make noise only while driving, or also in park/neutral in that RPM range?

If only while driving ignore this next tip… to zero in on it being my alternator, I used the old rubber hose held up to my ear trick. Moved it around my engine bay until I zoned in on the alternator being the culprit. Don’t use a stethoscope with it running, or you’ll deafen yourself haha. The hose found that rapid clicking noise was a bad bearing on my alternator

I think after finding if I put pressure on the clutch and the noise goes away, it should rule out the pulleys. The engine is at the same amount of load even with very slight pressure on the clutch. If the noise was a pulley I don’t think it would change with the light pressure on the clutch.
It’s only while driving. never could replicate it at idle.

I scheduled a 150k service with my trusted mechanic next Thursday. I’ll mention the throw out bearing and and see what he thinks.

Update! My mechanic said to forget about it until my clutch is ready to be replaced. Said no damage will occur and it’s a minor problem. Weird, but I accepted it as it’s been making the noise for 5000+ miles. Update when I replace my clutch after another 50k miles or so. Or when I get too annoyed from it.
