Howard Stern Fans?

I usually never listen to the wrap up show but today I will as soon as it's on the app. Just curious to hear Gary's feelings on it. It turned out ok in the end but to be that angry over something so dumb. I'm sure it's some misguided anger. I really think isolation is getting to Howard. He might say that's what he wants but I think it's messing with him. That and I think part of the reason not wanting to call people NYE because people aren't doing what he thinks is the right thing to do during the pandemic. Remember Dr. Agus being on and him telling Howard it's ok to do things being vaccinated and Howard doubted him. That's my thoughts on it. I think I'm over him constantly picking on Gary. It was funny in the past but now it almost seems personal and sad. IMHO.

 

he was in some mood today even taking things out on Beth, that poor lady.

 

i won't spoil the wrap up show but it was brought up along with some thoughts on the whole show today.

 

I just started listening to today's show.

He started ranting about how something didn't work, so I can only imagine how bad it got from there.

I figured it would be. I didn't get a chance to listen to it live. Just waiting for it on the app.

Not going to lie, today's show was kind of depressing. Entertaining for sure. It kept my attention the whole show but depressing nonetheless.

im behind you, his journaling nonsense is leading more to his mental health issues. I understand he likes to be creative but OMG, he finds this a better use of HIS time than Gary listening to vinyl or drinking his scotch.

Just heard Howard say he had yesterday's show edited during his rant to make it not so bad because he realized it was wrong, on the replay. So if you didn't hear it live, it probably doesn't sound as bad as those of us who heard it live.

Just to rehash it a little, if you didn't hear it live, it was fucked up and I was truly bummed out for Gary.

 

Not surprised it was edited. Howard made a mention of it towards the end of the show yesterday (yes, still on yesterday's show and at the end almost), where he said he would edit it in the replay.

What was left was still pretty bad though. And Gary did say that the reason why he got Howard what he did was for the sole purpose of getting Howard "mad" and for content to the show.

 

a little disappointing Howard chose to edit his rant when his whole FCC issue was freedom of speech. If it was good enough live, then it should be included on the replay. We are not paying for doctored content to save an image. This makes me mad but glad I caught it live.

 

I don't recall Gary saying to get him mad but I could have missed it. So if you thought the edit was still bad, imagine what he took out.

Yeah. Unless it's something that could be liable and/or could hurt someone physically or their family, then nothing should have been edited out. Like I teach my kids, if you're going to do/say something you better be ready to man up and take responsibility for what you do/say.

That was disappointing to hear.

 

Guess we gotta record the show. No way I'd ever catch a live feed being on the west coast. It was still pretty rough. Where they cut it? Right around the Postal worker comment?
