4x4 does nothing to help you stop which is when most of these people wreck. It could help prevent some spin outs but thats only provided they keep up with new tires. I just saw a girl take a turn near me and ended up deep into the brush It was so bad I couldn't even attempt to pull her out. I have no clue how fast she was going but she slid over 50 yards into the brush in a continued arch. Tires were trash even before the accident. As for the girl she was fine no injuries, called her dad to come get her. I left after seeing I couldn't help.

 

If it lives up to all the hype, there's going to be a lot of converts.

People were tailgating me (pissed off I guess) because they thought I could go faster in 4WD (Though I was in 2Hi the whole time, I only felt like I needed it to get up 2 hills which worked like a charm). I go slow because it's the stopping that matters along with watching out for other people. Idk man, I wish they could prescribe common sense in pill form.

Nah man, I was out all day and saw to many 2wd and 4x4’s getting stuck. I’m assuming the people with 4wd that were stuck or slipping didn’t know when to switch to 4hi hence why I think 4wd auto would create less accidents and slippage. Believe me, I had an awd CRV and I wouldn’t take it in the snow but it helped in patchy ice.

 

Someone on here asked me to keep a eye out for a cheap cabin, my CRS kicked in on who it was. Cabin needs work but ad says $60k or make offer. Has well, septic & electric. On almost 8acres with a small pond & stream. It's off of a private road. Like I mentioned the Cabin needs work.

The value is the land & utilities. Nice location off the main road too. I was told by a buddy that knows the owner that $50k would buy it. Nice cabin project for the right person with the know how. Or nice property to have a prefabbed cabin delivered. Did you see that new Amish built log cabin that was delivered by truck and put on Sunrise Ln?

 

Dave, how far is that cabin from your place? Just curious.

Right by the 1st switchback I believe,the road doesn’t get a lot of use it’s over grown with brush.
