I try to drive like an idiot but the truck doesn't let me. Put my foot to the wood and after 1st gear it's like a defiant child, I think it actually slows down lol

I may try removing the sway bar when it warms up, just to see how it is. I've actually been contemplating it since last summer.

    So. Many. Stickers.
I did on mine, one of the better decisions I've made.

Lol. Mine definitely has no problems picking up in 2nd and 3rd, although if I'm too low when shifting to 2nd, it falls completely flat on its face. Known "issue" with the SFob tunes lol

Mine's the same, I was being dramatic lol.

I was running my own tune based on the SFOB which was good but needing some refining. Switched over to the KDMax-Pro this week so to early to give my thoughts.

So far all I've heard about KDMax is the new guys love it, and the experienced guys say it's essentially a throttle dump. (Not necessarily a bad thing....)

Yeah, I'm hoping it wasn't a waste. Like I said I was fairly happy with my tune just didn't have the time to refine it.

Do they make disconnects for the Tacoma?

Aww, come on. How would it be fun if you don't end up needing a torch and ice water... And a grinder... And 4 hours of swearing and throwing tools.

Right? Isn't that why we live in here to begin with?

And no disconnects for the Tacoma that I know of.

    Unfortunately no.

Hopefully not going to be here much longer. Need to get out.

yup. Remember the sweet RC cars from when we were kids? The ones with the oil filled shocks (was it the RC-10?) I used to love picking those up and dropping them from 2 or 3 feet up…just to watch the suspension work and absorb the impact effortlessly.

That is exactly what I want to do with that tacoma lol.

edit: I personally inspected the welding work @jstemp did on the shock mount towers. Based on my extensive experience with my 120v Little Tykes “My First Hobart” welder, I have concluded the suspension is up to the task of repeated exploratory droppage.

I had a TQ-10 (same as the rc-10 just with a composit chassis and better bearings) that I used to race. This was before I had a driver's license, after all cash went to real cars lol.

Not going to lie wanted to back out the forklift and drop the truck, but again the "you have to drive it home" voice was in my head lol.

The struggle is real lol. If it was me I would have been in deep conversation with myself figuring out how to get a clean drop. Haha.
