Swicthed power with a fuse tap in fuse box under the hood. When i do a major wiring clean up i plan to move it to be tied in with DRL as i have done the always on mod for those.

That reminds me, for any of you with the AlphaRex Luxx series headlights, and a truck without DRL... what if you don't want to install their DRL harness + converter to the headlights? I rather like the functionality I have now where I can have them completely off. Is the only functional part of the DRL harness making the amber strips into white strips when they're not being used as a blinker?

with the headlamp switch off, al lights are off. in DRL position, just the LED and marker lights are on. i too would rather have just the LED lamps on without the marker lights but no biggie. these are the 2012 - 2015 HALO PROJECTOR LIGHTS-LIGHT BAR DRL

I know you can fit a 285 in the factory space location with some trimming but can anyone tell me if you can fit a 295/75 16 up there?

Backspacing on the wheel is gonna be key here to keep it off the frame rail and upper and lower control arms. I ran 295/70R17s with a cab mount chop, hammered pinch weld, and fender liner cutting. I have 4.85" backspacing wheels and my 295s rubbed the frame rail, upper and lower control arms at full lock. They also wanted to eat the flares at full stuff, so be prepared to do some cutting

Edit: Just re-read your post and sounds like you're talking about the spare. Yes i ran a 295/70r17 in the stock spare location. Had to bend the mounting tabs down and it's a very tight fit- ie close to the diff

Yeah that's tight! Thanks for the pictures. I'm planning on cutting it all to get them to fit the wheel wells but I was thinking it might not fit in the spare. I have 16" trd pro wheels right now and I think they have 13mm Offset so also not sure if a 295 would clear everything. I'm not finding the backspacing though so I might need to pick up some spacers.
just found one site saying its Usually 11mm

I put in that HDPE board as previously mentioned, realized that when I did so, I also removed the functionality of being able to put stuff on it. So I thought, I'll get some spacers, started poking around fastenal and mcmaster, was blown away at the pricing for standoffs. Into the garage I go, searched my sorting bins and came out with a handful of plastic and a handful of aluminum spacers. I used the plastic ones on the bottom holes to act as a bottom/middle spacer, and used the aluminum ones up top for a larger standoff from the board. Now I can use my MOLLE panel again.

After the wet season hit and I discovered my 2005 Dbl Cab had a bad leaky 3rd brake light when I bought it during the dry season. Unfortunately for me, I was traveling for a couple weeks and we got a TON of rain, so when I came home, I found a huge colony of mold growing across the entire rear seat. It was baaaaaad. I had to rip the entire interior apart to get rid of all traces of mold and mildew.

While I had it apart it, I:
    - thoroughly cleaned EVERYTHING
    - installed tons of sound deadening material
    - installed a backup camera (already had an upgraded CarPlay head unit)
    - installed a pair of USB ports into one of the DC "cigarette" outlets under the radio. one of which ties into CarPlay.
    - replaced the moldy rear seat with one from a 2015
    - replaced the nasty, worn out, moldy carpet with the black vinyl flooring
    - installed sill protectors
    - replaced shifter
    - installed Cali LED “cupholder” inserts

It feels like a different truck on the inside now. Better than my 2019 Highlander in the A/V department!

    I should’ve done a better job taking pics, but here’s a few.
