    I used rustolem satin black on the most recent grill. On the oem grill, purchased online from partsgeek.com for $32, it came black and I didn't do anything to it.

    I know that truck has a 4 cylinder, but does toyota make 2nd gen single cabs with the v6? Anybody know? I've tried to "build" one on the toyota site, but it doesn't work.

    Thanks ink junky, I do miss that truck. Can't wait till March though! :D

    Sadly, no, you can't get the V6 in any reg. cab, and I highly doubt that will change for 2012 either. Now if you step up to a Tundra you can get a V8 in a reg. cab. I was considering that, but didn't want to spend the $$.

    BTW, where are you at in TX? I was down there last year for 6 months working on the Taco equipment installation in San Antonio.

    From what I've heard, they are making another part of the manufacturing plant here pretty soon.
