Does anyone know a wheel and frame shop that isn’t Clark frame and wheel? I can’t deal with them anymore they never have done what I need and just take my money.

What kind of frame work do you need and what issues did you have at that shop.

I have vibration issues that I’ve asked them to figure out multiple times and they always said it’s nothing to worry about. Well these vibrations used to only occur above 60 mph but now they’re worse and you can feel them when driving 45. And they get worse in right hand turns. They said that it’s nothing to worry about though but the fact it’s getting worse seems to disprove that.
I also had a loose steering rack that they said they didn’t see an issue with but then my rack bolts fell out and they had completely overlooked it. I even told them to check the steering rack bolts for me and they said they would.
lastly I’m tired of them charging me to have the stuff looked at in the first place but them not doing anything or helping

Why don’t you take it to the dealer and have them Diagnose it

I don’t even trust the stealership to change my damn oil with what it says on the cap. Let alone diagnose something on an older Tacoma.

Have you checked the needle bearing issue at all? Did you lift it at any point?

That vibration sounds like a wheel bearing. Sorry to hear about your issue with that shop. I'd say bring it by but we are a body and frame shop. Mechanical isn't something we schedule independently.

However the vibration at certain speeds along with increased intensity while turning one direction is typically pointing to a failing wheel bearing.

Can you jack up that corner and spin the wheel by hand. It will probably feel gritty as it rotates, compare it to the other side.

Also u joints would be suspect, give those a check. Grab on either side of joint and twist each piece in opposite directions. Feel for any slop or play.

If 4x4, maybe a cv axle issue. Or it could be something as simple as a wheel balancing issue, or tire issue.

Went up to Loon Lake today. Nice little drive. As you might have guessed, plowed/snow blower had been very active. Stopped at the Day Use at Ice House as well.

this is at Ice House near the Day Use. All of the side roads I saw were barely used. Like someone would stuff their rig into it maybe 100 feet and be towed backwards. The road towards Went worth was maybe 50 feet. No one has tried very hard. Or, if they have tried hard, it didn’t go very well at all.

Great snowshoeing around Ice House Reservoir.
Also Jenkins lake and even though the MET is closed the snow level is so low you can park at the closure and snowshoe right from there.
These are at Ice House Reservoir.

I'm looking to buy a 255/85r16 tire for my spare, as well as a tan softopper for a DCLB. Please hit me up if you might have one of these for sale.

Your truck looks familiar, did you air up a bronco out in the middle of nowhere one time? A group of yotas came out and saved the day, I didn't bring air on this trip and it bit me in the ass.
