Pretty. I just dropped mine off at the tire shop.

I like the "flat" style of the Countersteer X so much more than the other styles of 6 spoke wheels.

I agree with you. I initially ordered the six shooters but switched to the type x. At first I was leery bc “first choice is usually the right choice” but nah man I am really pleased with these!!! I’m just drooling over them in my living room :D**
On a side note, I love how new wheels come with that fabric condom

@JeffBoyardee cant wait to see yours with the tires on em! What size you going with?

285/70/17 - same size I had before, but a less aggressive tire....because practicality and all. Gotta have smooth tires for crawling those malls.

Totally agree with you on the flat style, the bent style of spoke just don't resonate with me. Hoping to order wheels just like yours in 16" tomorrow. Haven't even ordered the Taco yet lol

Just throwing out another endorsement for FN Wheels. I, too, got tired of the SCS #Instasham game.

E-mailed Dustin at FN and got back timely and hugely helpful / informative responses. Pulled the trigger on a set of five 17x8.5 -6mm Five Stars in matte black -- in stock and ready to ship!

Couldn't be happier with the customer service. Will post updates when wheels arrive but so far I'm a very happy customer.

I’m eyeballing these when they get released. KMC Impact Ol. Already out in black and bronze but I want the machined finish. This particular wheel is also made in the USA.

I have a set of summit dakars I'm waiting to put on when I can get the lift installed and tires ordered. Originally wanted the SCS SR8's but they havent been in stock for the 17" in bronze since june/july so I hopped on them when i was checking one night. They are very nice quality. I'm pumped to have them without stressing for the next supply drop SCS has.

How do you like the 265s on them? I saw for the 17" 9" wide wheels most tire companies recommend a 285 minimum. I've been searching for the best deal for 285's for a few months now but worried they are only going to keep going up. They look great!

They are great. Discount tire didn’t blink twice about mounting them. They fit perfectly fine. 285s on these wheels require CMC and quite a bit of trimming. With that being said I will be doing a 285 here sometime this winter or spring. My gut tells me I should just stick with these 265s to prevent cutting up my truck but I can never leave well enough alone. I want to keep the weight down so going with the SL rated Ridge Grappler since it only weighs 49lbs.

I've been wanting to go with the Yokohama Geolandar MT if I go 285. Price wise, its starting to make more sense to go 265 with an alternative tire. The 265 looks like it fits the wheel no problem and doesn't look stretched at all. My truck is a 2nd gen that I'm doing a 3" lift for at the same time so I'm wondering if the 265 will look small compared to the 285 when its all said and done.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
Where did you find the 17x8.5 Five stars? I only see 16x8. If upgrading from my FJ wheels, I want the wider width as opposed to just a 1/2" increase, and to stay with 17"s.
