But found this in my Wal-Mart chips. I’m sure everything was safe to eat after being deep fried, but I still don’t like insects in my food. I swear it looks like a spider up close!

When I was a kid the neighbor up the street from us had two very nice Pontiac Trans AM, and some type of wagon also Pontiac I think, all performance V8's and all with 4 speeds. I just remember thinking it was odd for a wagon to have a factory four speed and I was just a young kid. Guess I just always thought of a 4 on the floor a sporty two door thing.
I so liked the dash in those early Trans AM.

The early 60's GM wagons were some mighty good looking cars -- with a poorly designed frame. The early 60's GM trucks with all the curves were the best lookers of the era to.
I feel that in the mid 60's the Ford cars were the better lookers.

My uncle had a 1966 Country Squire which I thought was the coolest looking car on the road. It took me a lot of years but I finally got my own 66 Ford wagon to cruise around in.

4 speeds became a big deal in the early 60's and for a few years you could order one in just about anything short of the high dollar cars like Cadillac, Chrysler, etc. that didn't offer any manual transmission option.
Ford full size Galaxie had a 4 speed option until 1970 and a 6 cylinder with 3 speed on the wheel available until 1972. The six was the 240, same as used in pick ups and parent of the famous Ford 300.

And it is a very cool car Rusty:thumbsup:
I appreciate all them old cars. And like you said a temperature and oil pressure sensor. Simple. Fuel, air and spark main ingredients to make it run.

    Old cars:

When I was a kid the lady across the street had a 1962 Oldsmobile 98 with a 394 Skyrocket engine and dual exhaust. We would hear the 394 bark when she started it up and run out front to watch her take off. She would put her foot down and the back of that car would drop as she blasted down the street like a teenager -- she was around 65 then.

Years later she told me "I always like to step right down and move right out."

Looked like this but not so nice.

Pretty much how long it took to get here. Some Folks should just plain stay home when it gets like this. Those of us out here usually got somewhere to go. Sight seein’ in a blizzard is like askin’ for a window seat on the Titanic. :frusty:
