Snows coming and I have a question on my Ariens .

Last winter the shoes were a little uneven and the scraper got a little worn and beat. Can they it turned around so I can use the other side or do I need to replace it entirely ?

The scraper is a wear item. If it’s slotted, you can adjust accordingly but I wouldn’t flip it. Either raise one side a bit to even it out or even it out using a grinder.

Here we go. I hate this crap but if it's gonna be cold might as well have something to show for it.

You can probably get a universal replacement at lowes/ HD (iirc they both sell the lower end ariens) for pretty cheap. And the blade is pretty easy to replace.

I'll say it since I've contributed nothing worthwhile recently....

I’ll probably end up calling the HD in Merrimack. They do repairs and I’ll reach out to them if needed

precovid it was supposed to be an 8-9 month build. not sure now but we're hoping end of next summer. foundation was really delayed, but they're saying the other vendors are scheduling much quicker

This is Seth contributing worthwhile.

Very cool. What's the dividing wall for? A garage?

At this rate, sometime in 2026!
