With the success of the past 3 lake meets :headbang: I wanted to make the "lake meets" a regular thing and keep it going through out So Cal at different spots. It's a good time to unwind from a long week of work, shoot the shit with guys/gals that share the same interest, eat some chow :hungry:, drink beer , and just have fun in the sun....or rain . For those that don't like to get dirty at meets this is perfect 'cause your truck will never see mud :mudding: and it'll be in a parking lot for people to admire and take pics :anonymous:. The only dirt will be what comes out of Ryan's mouth .

So far this is what I've came up with:

    Dana Point Harbor
    [IMG]

    or

J st Marina in Chula Vista

    Dates:

    March 19th

    March 26th

    April 9th

    April 23rd

if y'all have suggestions throw 'em out there

    Either place is rad.

I am planning a Superstition run the weekend of April 9th, The date was just set and was getting ready to post details as more come. I know a few guys said they wanted to go out there.

    I've lost track
I think Dana Point would be cool. Get more of the LA guys to come! The only thing is parking... that is spring break time and with 30+ trucks all trying to park together?? Not sure about that but Im in either way!

I know dude. I use to launch my kayak out of there. I know the parking can be an issue. Gotta get there before the yakers do and maybe cone out a spot. I like Dana Point also because of the location and I love the view.

    Dana Point truly looks awesome.

Maybe start a pole with both options and dates to get a good feeler? Thanks for bringing this up, Rick!

No problem Greg. I'll get on it as soon as I can get in a computer. It's hard doing shit on the iPhone haha. I like DP myself also it's just te parking sucks but it's worth it IMO. I'd have to recon a spot for us. I don't know if they have a place for us to BBQ or even if booze is allowed. But i get on it 'cause I'm in Camp Pendleton now. Oh, I
Jelouse of your speedway blue BTW haha

Lol Aint it the truth- I use my iPhone for just info gathering and posting when I'm too far away from a standard computer. The parking does look like it'd be crowded but if it weren't you'd know it's not the greatest of places. I guess the only problem would be where to make food. I'll do some research and see what I can scratch up. We can always just have the meet on Doug's yacht ya know :p I must say- I love me some speedway blue- the gals do too ;)

Wait! I know we can grill or cook out there 'cause I use to do kayak tournaments there and after we'd cook. So that's not an issue.

Kayak Tournaments huh? As in Jason Mortons Kayak Sport Fishing events or perhaps the Dana Point Kayak Fishing Mafia events?

Seems there is a good possibility I knew you elsewhere before knowing of you on tw....

Yah but what's his deal with making it mandatory for members to donate $25 or they get banned. I got banned 'cause I didn't pay because I was deployed. Some of those guys are cool but I don't agree with what Kiyo is doing. So I assume you know Andy at the Sunset store? I rented a yak from him and next week I got one myself. I miss it. I was thinkingof opening a kayak store in Oklahoma when I move out there. How hard is it to do so?
