What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

The plastic cap on the grab handle. I managed to break a tab on one when I removed it for the tweeter install.

 

No the Rav 4 knobs have an outer ring that needs to be removed. Not the post.

 

Seems to be some questions/concerns out there regarding the AJT radio knobs and which ones to get.
If your existing knobs look like this, get V1

Ah, so basically just break off the plastic piece

 

@toku58 corrected me above. The piece is actually a little different on the Rav4 knobs.

Regardless, yes, the piece just pops right out; no breaking, totally reversible.

 

What light bar is that?

 

Do they come in Quicksand?

 

Amber/Yellow is better on the eyes in heavy snow/fog/rain/dust. You'll get a lot less reflection. Better vision is my experience and sexy AF.

 

Went to the truck and grabbed the knobs for some shots. Looks like mine were 2020+ V1.

Fasho... I saw a post of a local Jeep Gladiator enthusiast in my town... driving here in Idaho through the snow showing the difference between amber and white... literally night and day.
Never knew how bad the stock fogs are on my 19 SR5 until I was driving from Boise to Seattle.... I think someone said "basically running lights"

"I think" you're a V2 guy if you went with the AJT knobs.

 

You need these. They work great.

 

The hole in the middle is bigger and of a different shape.

Ahhh. Ok, you're correct. The V2s have the one flat side on the hole. Yours has two. Hard to tell the hole size in pictures.
You're existing knobs don't look too bad. Hard to tell how long they are but they got grippy.

 

Also works well for finches. Those things are little bastards about mirrors.
